South London Orienteers (SLOW) are an orienteering and running club based in south London. Our members are based all over the south London area, with a particular concentration in the Kingston/Wimbledon/Richmond areas. We also have quite a few members in north London, and also in Surrey (Dorking, Guildford etc.) Club members range from complete novices to international level orienteers. We are affiliated to British Orienteering, the sport’s national governing body, and are Clubmark accredited.

What a day! ❤️💙 What a brilliant way to continue SLOW's 50th anniversary year celebrations.
Several members took on a special 50km relay along the Thames Path - one kilometre for every year.
The adventure began with parkrun...
Then it was just another 45km to go, past some of London's iconic landmarks!
🏃 8 handovers of an orienteering flag
🎈 A balloon also travelled along the route
🤝 And was reunited with its matching balloon at the finish - a wonderful symbol of friendship and teamwork.

What a weekend! 🤯 British Sprint and Sprint Relay Orienteering Championships 2026 drawn to a close yesterday. SLOW members bagged 5🥇🥇🥈🥈🥉impressive medals across the two disciplines including 2 British champion titles!🏆🏆 Well done to everyone who partipated and a big thank you to those contributed to the team!❤️💙

Well done to those who braved the heat at Burgess Park yesterday (the hottest day in May on record no less)! Hopefully everyone had an enjoyable run through the park.

Well done to the winners of the OK Nuts trophies. 👑 Super speedy runs through the bilberry forest!
The day was also a continuation of the celebrations for our club's 50th anniversary year. There was a wonderful birthday cake made by Iris, cut by two of our founding members Mike and Charlie 🎂
