Portugal Retreat 2026 🤍
When I look back at these photos, my heart feels so full & happy. It may sound selfish…
I never really know how a retreat is going to unfold. And honestly... I don’t think I want to know.
I choose a theme. I create a structure. I prepare every detail I can.
But then I also leave space.
Space for people.
Space for life.
Space for things to find their own place, in their own time.
This retreat was meant to be calm and meditative.
I believe it was.
But it was also so much more & everything else.
It was fun.
Light.
Random.
Focused.
Very organised...
and completely disorganised at times.
It was deep conversations and comfortable silence.
It was laughter, tears, hugs, shared meals, yoga, nature, unexpected moments and memories that couldn’t be planned.
Authentic.
A little weird.
Beautifully human.
Some moments were joyful.
Some were difficult.
Some were simply... neutral & enough.
And maybe that’s what I love most about retreats.
They’re never about creating the perfect week.
They’re about creating the space for whatever needs to emerge.
Thank you to everyone who joined and who trusted me, trusted the process, and helped make this week exactly what it needed to be.
And a huge thank you to Gosia Malinowska | Psychosomatic Therapist for your beautiful presence, and to MOVE - Monte Velho for giving us such a magical home.
Until next time. 🤍

🌿 Movement is playful. Life is a leap.
Sometimes you’re ready, sometimes you’re steady, sometimes you just go.
💛 Your practice, your leap, your moment, own it.

✅ ❌Black & White Reflections : Practice Power & Perspective ⚫⚪
🖤 Rewatching Wild Wild Country made me reflect on authority, projection and the roles of yoga teachers (myself included oc), facilitators, gurus, shamans, coaches (etc.) and the broader wellness space/industry.
🌿I truly believe in the yoga practice. Since I started it it has only brought me back to my essentials, to what already exists within me. It grounds me, it’s a steady & supportive thread in my life. It doesn’t bring pressure but gentleness and keep myself, my mind, body and heart sharp, yet soft. It is also fun 🤸🏻♀️🧘🏻♀️🙂
⚠️But like any field, it deserves awareness and critical thinking. Because it can also contain illusion, confusion, misplaced power dynamics.
The truth is, it is hard to guide ourselves and even more a group of human beings across physical depth and subtle experience, not to give answers, but to support exploration without dependence.
🌀No one owns your meaning.
Practice is meeting yourself : clearly or when it is messy, honestly & with compassion, independently & yet with safe support when needed.
🤍I hope you find this in your yoga practice or in the “wellness” spaces/peeps you connect with.
🌬And hey… take a breath, notice what feels good & let the rest unfold without losing your discernment. It should never feel imposed, judgemental or anything along those lines 🌿
💜Merci for those pics. Already 2 years ago!!! 👀
