Well done Year 11! 🎉
It was smiles all around this morning as our Y11 students were celebrating the school’s best ever GCSE results. This year, 55% of Year 11s achieved a Grade 5 (a strong pass) or higher in both English and maths. Three quarters of them (76%) achieved a Grade 4 or above in the two subjects. Impressively, 38% of our students achieved top grades in English of 7-9
Students also did exceptionally well in other subjects with over 80% of students gaining a grade 4 in History, Geography, French and Spanish and 100% of students achieving a grade 6 or above in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Sixth form success at Bacon’s College! We are so proud of you all! 🎉
This year across the Sixth Form, around a third (64%) of all A Level entries were graded as A* to B, with 88% of entries awarded A* to C.
Among those celebrating were Afnan, who secured straight A grades in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics and Geography and Mieke who achieved three A grades in Mathematics, Biology and Geography and will be going onto study Psychology of Sport and Exercise at Loughborough University.
A huge well done to all of our Year 13s! We wish you all the very best for the future and don’t forget to join our Alumni network!

This term we celebrated Founders’ Day at Bacon’s College with an amazing service honouring over 300 years of history and our founder, Josiah Bacon. We are extremely proud to be a school with such deep roots in our local community.
Our aim at Bacon’s is to provide our students with the confidence, knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the world.
‘Best in Everyone’ lessons, led by the Head of Sixth Form, involve all Sixth Form students and cover topics such as careers, public speaking, finance and more. These sessions are designed to ensure every student feels prepared for life beyond education.
