🎭 MUSICALS ON SCREEN IS BACK! 🎬

Following the incredible success of our last Musicals on Screen intensive, we’re delighted to announce that applications are now open for our August 2026 course.

Over two inspiring days, performers will experience what it’s really like to work in front of the camera on musical theatre material, learning how to bridge the gap between stage and screen in today’s industry.

This isn’t just another masterclass. Every participant will work in a professional studio environment, receiving detailed, personalised coaching on:
✨ Acting through song for camera
✨ Screen performance technique
✨ Audition preparation
✨ Connecting truthfully through close-up performance
✨ Industry insight into what casting directors are looking for
✨ Individual feedback designed to help you take your next step professionally

The course will be led by Emmy-nominated Casting Director Rob Kelly, whose recent credits include Hadestown, The Jonathan Larson Project, Little Shop of Horrors, Geek Girl, Curfew and Malory Towers, alongside one of the West End’s leading Musical Directors, giving performers the rare opportunity to work with the creative team from both sides of the audition room.

Our previous course saw performers leave with greater confidence, stronger audition material and a much deeper understanding of how to adapt musical theatre performance for television and film. Whether your ambition is the West End, screen musicals or both, this intensive has been designed to help you stand out.

Thrilled to finally introduce the full company of Private Jones.

Finding this cast has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Bringing together Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing performers to tell this extraordinary true story has been a genuine privilege, and I couldn’t be prouder of the company we have assembled.

Alongside our previously announced leads Rose Ayling-Ellis, Bronwyn James and James Spence, we’re delighted to welcome an incredible cast of performers who will bring Marshall Pailet’s moving and groundbreaking musical to life this Christmas at Southwark Playhouse Elephant. (WhatsOnStage.com –)

A huge thank you to every actor, agent and creative who has been part of this journey. The level of talent we saw throughout the process was extraordinary.

I cannot wait for audiences to experience this beautiful, powerful and deeply human story.

See you in December.

A real dream project to cast.

Delighted to have cast the UK production of The Jonathan Larson Project, bringing Jonathan Larson’s rarely-heard and previously unproduced songs to London audiences for only the second production in the world following its New York premiere.

What a company. Max Harwood, Imelda Warren-Green, Marcus Collins, Michael Mather, Natalie Kassanga, Edward Flynn Haddon and Georgie Butler will bring these extraordinary songs to life, celebrating the genius behind RENT and tick, tick… BOOM!

Huge thanks to director John Simpkins, producers Thomas Hopkins and SAMS Entertainment, and everyone behind this very special production. It has been a privilege helping to assemble this company.

The Jonathan Larson Project begins performances at Southwark Playhouse Borough on 9 July and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it.

Casting the European premiere of Private Jones has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

Inspired by the remarkable true story of Gomer Jones, a deaf Welsh sniper who concealed his hearing loss to serve in the First World War, Marshall Pailet’s extraordinary new musical is told through spoken English, British Sign Language and sign language storytelling, creating a truly unique theatrical experience.

Finding and meeting so many talented Deaf and hard of hearing performers throughout this process has been a genuine privilege. The richness, skill and authenticity they have brought to the room has been inspiring, and it has been an honour to help assemble a company that reflects the heart of this remarkable piece.

We’re now putting the finishing touches to what I believe will be a very special cast, with some exciting casting announcements coming soon.

I cannot wait for audiences to discover this powerful story of courage, friendship, identity and belonging.

Absolutely thrilled to be casting the first ever UK & Ireland tour of Hadestown alongside the West End production.

This show means so much to me. It is one of the most exciting, original and emotionally powerful musicals of our generation, and it is a real privilege to be helping assemble the companies that will bring this extraordinary musical to audiences both in London and across the UK and Ireland.

Working alongside such an incredible creative team is a joy, and every day I am reminded just how much outstanding talent we have in this industry. Seeing performers bring these iconic roles to life in the room has been genuinely inspiring, and we have been fortunate to see some truly exceptional work for every role.

Thank you to everyone who has auditioned so far. It is a privilege to witness such artistry, passion and dedication, and I cannot wait to continue the journey with this remarkable production.

To the world we dream about… and the one we live in now.

Thrilled to finally share that Allegra is heading into the West End following its UK tour starring the legendary Dame Maureen Lipman, John Middleton, Elizabeth Bower & Bailey Patrick

Casting this project has been such a joy. A brand new comedy by Peter Quilter, directed and choreographed by three-time Olivier Award winner Stephen Mear, and produced by Thomas Hopkins Productions and SAMS Entertainment.

The piece is funny, heartfelt, unapologetically theatrical and full of music, chaos and warmth. Watching this company come together has been incredibly special and I cannot wait for audiences to discover Allegra and the beautiful madness at the heart of it.

Huge thanks to every actor and creative who has been part of the process so far. West End, here we come.
