Complete reversal of last week! Mitcham caught us napping early doors and blew us away to go 3-0 up. But the lads showed proper character—we dug deep and hit them with two quickfire goals from Sam and Manuel to make it 3-2 at the break.

​Second half was a cagey battle with nothing much in it, until Mitcham buried a free-kick to wrap up the win. Fair play to them, the better side won on the day, but it was still a proper solid outing from our lads. We played some cracking football considering most of the squad was made up of our brand new Sunday side, who are still getting to grips with playing together

​A big thank you to Mitcham for the two good friendlies. (We’re still claiming the 5-4 aggregate win, though! 🤣) Good luck for the season!

We’ve now gone 10 matches without defeat, with 2 hard-fought draws along the way,, showing resilience, character, and consistency every single week 👊

Today we took another huge step, winning our Shield Quarter Final to book our place in the semi-finals… that’s 3 semi-finals in 3 years 🙌

It wasn’t easy. A tough game where we had to dig deep, stay disciplined, and fight for every ball — but the performance was solid from start to finish.

Next up: a massive challenge. We face a top side sitting 2nd in the league in the semi-final next week.
