🥵 Training in this heat?
If your workout feels harder than normal…it’s probably the weather, not your fitness.
As women in our 40s, the heat can hit us a little differently too, so don’t be afraid to slow things down.
A few things I’m doing:
💧 Drinking more water
🌅 Training earlier where I can
👟 Taking the pressure off chasing PBs
💛 Listening to my body
Remember, not every workout has to be your best one. Sometimes just showing up is enough.
We’ve got a warm week ahead, so look after yourself and train smart. ☀️

Running has a way of teaching you that comfort is optional.
You don’t always feel ready. Some days the motivation isn’t there, your body feels heavy, and everything tells you to leave it for another time. But running doesn’t really wait for perfect conditions.
You show up anyway.
And that’s where it starts to change things. Not from the easy runs where everything feels smooth, but from the ones where you have to push through just to get it done.
That’s where discipline is built. That’s where progress actually comes from.
Not comfort, consistency. 🔥🏃🏼♀️

⭐️ PATIENCE ⭐️
Patience with the process.
Patience with change.
Patience with yourself.
And patience to stay consistent.
Don’t make things harder than they need to be by chasing quick fix diets or shortcuts. Trust the process, stay consistent, and give yourself time. The methods that have always worked still work
Eat a little less. Move a little more. ✌🏼
Small actions, repeated consistently, lead to lasting results. 💛
