Meet the team behind Loddon Martial Arts! 🥋

A great martial arts school is built on passionate instructors, and we're proud to have an experienced team dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential.

👊 Master Julian Blakey (5th Dahn Master & School Owner) has over 25 years of martial arts experience and is committed to helping students of all ages and abilities grow in confidence, skill and fitness. If you've attended one of his famous cardio sessions, you'll know they definitely get the heart pumping!

🥋 James Lewis (3rd Dahn Black Belt & Senior Instructor) has been training since 2005 and has a passion for weapons training, particularly staff sparring. He also enjoys helping students master breakfalls and throwing techniques, building confidence every step of the way.

Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, learn practical self defence, develop discipline, or simply try something new, our instructors are here to support you on your martial arts journey.

🥋 CLUB TESTING – SATURDAY 25TH JULY 🥋

Good luck to all of our students taking part in this month's grading! This is your chance to showcase everything you've been working on in class and take the next step in your martial arts journey.

📍 The Hollies Community Building, Loddon

Please remember to bring:
- Full uniform (including your current belt and training jacket)
- A water bottle
- Your completed testing permission form
- Any required weapons (staff or sword)

⏰ Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your allocated start time to get warmed up.

Testing isn't just about earning a new belt – it's about demonstrating confidence, discipline, perseverance and the progress you've made through your training.

We can't wait to see everyone give it their best. Good luck, and most importantly... enjoy the experience! 👊🥋
