Yesterday, Belle played as fly-half for the Glasgow South U16s team in Scottish Rugby’s Regional Games Series, at Merchiston Castle School.

Well done to 8 of our women’s team who took training to Tarbert last night!

One not-so-smart coach planned the first pop up session on the same weekend as Tarbert Music Festival 🤦‍♀️ So there were no newcomers this week, however it was nice to bring training to Katie for a change!

Our next Tarbert pop-up session is Friday 9th October 6.30-7.30pm. If you live in Tarbert or the surrounding areas, and want to give rugby a try, come along and see if it’s for you!
These taster sessions are completely beginner-friendly, with no contact involved. The perfect chance to see if rugby is for you 💛🖤

U16 MAKI Girls 🩵

Today our U16s claimed their first victory of the season, with a 52-47 win against Oban Lorne RFC in a highly competitive match.

After this win, the girls will face Cambuslang in the next round of the National Youth Cup in 2 weeks time.

Well done to the whole team today! Especially to Indie and Blayre who were chosen as players of the match 💛🖤

Yesterday, we hosted U12 & U14 Girls from Campbeltown Junior Rugby Club & Etive Vikings. Originally supposed to be a festival, with the low numbers we adapted and did a training session, developing tackling and skills around the breakdown.

Well done to all the girls who came along, especially to our U12s, Maisie and Ellie, and our U14s, Orla and Ayla 💛🖤

Thanks to Claire and Ophelie for bringing the Campbeltown and Etive girls, and to Fiona and Christine for helping out on the pitch and in the kitchen.

Yesterday the Argyll & Bute U18 boys played their very first game together! A combined team of Mid Argyll, Oban Lorne RFC, Campbeltown Junior Rugby Club, ISLAY RUGBY CLUB & Isle of Mull RFC

The boys worked together very well, pulling out a win for their first game, 31-21 against a combined team of Carrick Rugby & Wigtownshire Rugby Football Club

Great to see 4 of our U18s, Lewis, Martín, Tom and Steven, playing in this combined team 💛🖤 Well done boys!
