Some people wear the badge on a Saturday.
Some people spend the rest of the week making sure there is still a club to play for.
Ashley Black has been a huge part of the revival of Llysfaen FC over the last four years.
As Club Chairman, Social Media Officer and a player, Ash wears plenty of hats — and somehow still finds time to keep pushing the club forward.
When the rebuild began, Ash helped bring together a committee, put a proper structure in place and started building the club’s presence both within the community and across social media.
But if you asked Ash what his biggest achievement at Llysfaen has been, it wouldn’t be a goal, a result or something that happened on the pitch.
It would be getting the right people in place behind the scenes.
From the management team to the committee, the people involved have built stronger relationships, opened new doors and created opportunities that have helped take the club forward.
Ash never stops looking at what comes next.
His biggest priority is simple:
Making sure football continues to have a future in Llysfaen. 🧡
There is still plenty more to build.
And he’s certainly not finished yet.
