The beautiful moment just after my daughter and I worked together to bring her into the world. My heart was bursting with love and excitement for what was to come, I felt like the most powerful version of myself, my body had been miraculous and my mindset was the strongest it had ever been. My husband was beside us, having advocated for us when we needed him most and I was so proud that we had achieved a birth that was our version of amazing!
This was the moment that I knew everybody should know about Hypnobirthing, I realised how different my two birth experiences had been, and I had no doubt that hypnobirthing had played a massive part in that.
And so, my hypnobirthing journey didn’t end there and my dream became to support others in achieving theirs.

If there was one thing that I could change about my labour experience with my daughter, it would be the journey to the hospital. Now, for those who don’t know, I live in the middle of nowhere and the roads that we had to take on the first part of my journey were bumpy to say the least. This along with not really planning the small things made for an interesting journey.
So here I am, with my top 3 tips of what I would do differently if I had my chance again….
⭐️ Pack a car bag. Most of us are prepared with our hospital bag for both ourselves and our new baby, but you don’t want to be routing through that during your journey in the car. So pack a bag just for the car and have it in there ready, before the day arrives. Just a few essentials will make that journey much more pleasant, so I’m thinking bottle of water, snacks, a small towel, a cooling mist, an eye mask, whatever you think will keep you comfortable and calm.
⭐️ Bring an Eye Mask. Blocking out distractions can really help you to remain calm. Traffic can be chaotic at the best of times, so give yourself the best chance of achieving some tranquility by creating a dark space which will allow you to focus on more important things like your breathing.
⭐️ Coordinate with your birth partner. Making sure your birth partner knows that this will be a time when they will be in control will really help you to retreat into your relaxation techniques and support them in being able to be there for you. Plan your route, have the hospital number saved into their phone so they can make any important calls and just be really clear about what you might need from them (even if this is just complete silence!)
These small actions could make such a big difference in ensuring that your trip to the hospital is as calm and planned as possible.

This is the beautiful workbook that you will receive as part of my course and it 100% reflects my beliefs about Hypnobirthing, here are just a few…...
⭐️Hypnobirthing is for all births. We talk about different birth scenarios and how our tools are for them all.
⭐️ A Hypnobirthing course should be interactive. Your voice is the important one in my courses ❤️.
⭐️Birth partners are gold! They should be as much a part of this as you.
⭐️Knowledge is power. People fear what they don’t understand. I aim to help you feel knowledgeable about the birthing process and understand what you can do to make it a great experience.
⭐️You are the boss! You are the person that makes the decisions. You can only get this right.
⭐️You and your baby deserve the best possible birth.
I would love to hear from you if you are interest in learning more about the power of hypnobirthing and how it can support you, your birth partner and your baby. My DMs are always open for you

I’m pretty sure everyone knows how to breathe because most of the time it comes to us automatically. But, what if we could learn to use our breath in a more conscious way, a way that impacts our bodies and our emotions too.
During labour and birth this is so powerful. Learning simple breathing techniques can quickly place you in your parasympathetic nervous system. This is our calm and centred response and it is when we are feeling like this that birth happens more easily and comfortably.
Probably a silly question, but does this sound good to you?
Breathing is just one of the many techniques that we will cover in a Hypnobirthing course, and what a difference it can make!
If you are looking to learn techniques to support you in your upcoming birth then please reach out and we can have a chat about how we can work together.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of attending the Love Your Birth Inspiration Day today which was bursting with incredible Continuous Professional Development, ideas creation and meeting some amazing like minded ladies who also make it their mission to support expecting couples.
Community is so important to me and so today really was an inspiration!
Thank you Abby for your ongoing knowledge, support and encouragement, you don’t realise just how much it means 💕

This was me when I was pregnant with my first baby and if I’m completely honest a number of them were still true when I was pregnant with my second.
Then I discovered hypnobirthing! To say the rest is history would be such a disservice to the difference that this made to my confidence, empowerment and ultimately the birth that I experienced.
And now; I love to support other women in their pregnancy and births; equipping them with tools, techniques and knowledge; helping them to reap the benefits that hypnobirthing can provide because let’s face it, you don’t know what you don’t know!
So, how could hypnobirthing support you? Get in touch and let’s have a chat.

Less than 5% of babies are born on their estimated due date!!
It’s just an estimate that was based on a brief study conducted hundreds of years ago! Yet so many expectations, emotions and decisions are triggered by this date and literally everybody you speak to about your pregnancy will ask you about it!
So that date you’ve been given, how about you make it a due month?
All bodies are different, all births are different, all babies are different and sometimes letting go of that due date can be just the ticket. Honestly, you’ll be so glad that you did! ⠀

Website creation!!
This is such an exciting but daunting task for me. Being typically me, I’m trying to give it a good go myself, I love learning as I go and this is completely new territory!
So please bare with me and be prepared for lots of questions my website creation friends!
As you can see I’ve already had to enlist the help of my husband (much to his delight), and this is what I came down to this morning 🤪
Has anybody created their own website recently? All tips welcomed!!!
