THIS IS NOT YOUR ORDINARY RUNNING CLUB...
Here at Llangollen Running Club, we love our running, of course, but there is MORE to us than pace charts, elevation stats and debates about trail versus road. We like to have FUN!
In fact, the social side of the club is so important, we have two social secretaries! Jenny and Simon organise many fun, non-running events throughout the year, including our annual old-school sports day, quiz nights, darts, tiddly winks, you name it!
And once a year our chair, David, organises the Llan Run Club Scavenger Hunt. Last week's event saw 5 intrepid teams head out in search of clues and silly photo opportunities, all culminating in a pint at the Chainbridge Hotel. A lot of fun was had by all, runners of all abilities took part, and as always, nobody got left behind!
So yes, we do love our running here at the club, but we also love a bit of silliness too!
