We really value the time and dedication of all of our marshals and volunteers, and we take pride in recognising their efforts through our fantastic marshal reward scheme.

👤Individual marshals can choose between race entries or donations to a CV story or community group.

👥Groups come together at our events to promote teamwork and raise money. Need some extra funding for your football team? Fund the next Scouts camp? Groups are rewarded with a donation to their group or race entries which can generate sponsorship and raise further funds for their cause

🎉Annual Marshal Party
At the end of the season all marshals are invited to join us for a drink and some munch at the Events Hub to say thank you (plus, left over merch is available free of charge!)

The best bit is that marshalling is fun! You are the fuel to someone’s mid race motivation, a friendly face at a feed station, or the face they remember as you provide them with their slate finisher at the finish line

This year we’ve partnered up with niku-naku sauna to provide a dedicated Recovery Zone at the Bala Triathlon. Start your ultimate recovery with Finnish sauna and contrast therapy.

The Recovery Zone is open to contestants and spectators alike. Featuring a wood-fired sauna, chilled plunge pool, changing rooms, a shower, and outdoor seating. The perfect way to unwind after the race, and celebrate the days events at Llyn Tegid/Bala Lake.
