Donington Park you were a blast! We had a top weekend with no major issues so a good result. This was our first time out with the CMRC and we have met some fantastic people that have really helped us out on keeping the bike on the track.
As always, many thanks to everyone who took the time to come and visit us, your support is fantastic!

S&D Racing is going to Donington Park!
Next weekend (1st/2nd August) we will be at the CMRC Classic Bike Festival
This is a huge event for classic bike racing and most of the top teams are there warming up ready for the Isle of Man Classic TT later in the month. This really is as local as it gets!
Come and take a look and find us in the paddock!

The curse of Darley Moor continues………..
Ask any racer and they all have favourite or not so favourite tracks and this seems to be ours! Every time we go to Darley Moor we hit issues, but that is racing, if it was easy everyone would be doing it! 🤣
John had some running issues over the weekend and had to return to the paddock after the warm up lap. This meant a couple of DNF’s which is extremely annoying.
Dave had an engine failure in the first race on Sunday and everyone (including some of our visitors) mucked in to swap the engine out for the next race.
The 350 went very well but still has an issue with 3rd gear which we thought was resolved but seems to have come back.
A tough weekend for us all but a bad days racing is better than a good day at work!
Thanks to Bailey Farmer and Russ Fisher for the continued support. Also special thanks to Ken Bucknell and Emmie Cousins for helping change the engine. Thanks to Andy Bucknell for the photos!

This past weekend we were at the Tonfanau Road Races in North Wales. It was a good set of races for John and myself with very few issues. The weather was absolutely fantastic which always makes it better!
Thanks to Russ and Bailey again for the support in getting the bikes out there.

This weekend we were at Cadwell Park for Round 2 of the BHR championship and we had a bit of a mixed bag on results and performance.
First the CB350K4 - we have spent a huge amount of time locked away this winter building the bike and the weekend gave us some big learnings! Friday saw a few fuelling set up issues which went ok. It went out
on the track day for a few sessions and it seemed to be ok. The Saturday race day bought us a whole new heap of problems with a slipping clutch which meant the engine had to be stripped down a couple of times and it only made it out on the warm up laps and had to come back in. That problem was resolved and on the first race on Sunday we went out again and it started the race but I soon realised we had no 3rd gear. I finished the race but it didn’t go back out for the last race on Sunday as we didn’t want cause further damage.
Second, the ‘little bike’ ran great on Friday and Saturday with just a few set up issues. On the cool down lap on the last race on Saturday the engine blew. The engine was replaced on the Saturday night but it would not run for any of the Sunday races correctly.
All in all a very busy weekend and a huge thanks to Bailey Farmer for the hard work he put in over the 3 days. Without him the bikes would have struggled to get out at all! The beer on Saturday night was very well deserved!!! 🤣
Also thanks to Ashley Wilkinson Joe Taylor Shane Colbrook for the help and advice over the weekend.
Next weekend we are off to tonfanau, North Wales for the road races and we will give you another update after then!
