After such a long, dry spell this summer, the recent rainfall has seen our fairways quickly burst back into colour, and the course is looking absolutely fantastic!

A huge credit to Marcus, Simon and the entire Greens Team who have worked tirelessly throughout the challenging dry conditions this summer. The course is in awesome condition as we head into September. 👏

Massive congratulations to Richard Hooper on successfully defending his Men’s Club Championship title! Presented by the owner & chairman of Machynys, Mr Jim Anderson.

Richard produced two fantastic rounds of 74 and 75 in some tough conditions to claim a 9-shot victory!

And a big congratulations to everyone who competed in the event, we had record numbers even with the conditions. The course was once again in fantastic condition, so a big thank you to Marcus Weaver, Simon Hooper and the entire Greenkeeping Team for all their hard work preparing the course for the weekend.

Lastly, a big thank you to John for being on the 1st tee and starting all the players off throughout the weekend.

A huge congratulations to Betsi Bowen, Nicholas Kuipers and Elis Gordge, who represented Machynys in today’s Dyfed Junior Championships here at Machynys! ⛳️

All three represented the club with pride and played some fantastic golf throughout the day. It’s brilliant to see our Machynys juniors competing in county events like these, gaining valuable experience and proudly representing their home club. 👏

🏆 A special congratulations to Elis Gordge, who produced two fantastic rounds of nett 71 & 68, finishing on an impressive -5 overall and securing 2nd place in the overall 36-hole Nett Championship!
