Day 2 Donington 🔧

Race 3 was going so well Craig was leading for 75% of the race until the t bar decided to snap and sent him straight on red gate causing him to DNF however Simon wasn’t far behind in the pack and with clean and consistent laps Simon finished p3

The team worked hard and got craigs truck back up and running along with some adjustments on simons truck

Race 4 seen both Craig and Simon line up 1 and 2 on the start grid and it was all to play for who would be victorious and claim the fastest brother award, neither of them backed out and gave it all however it was Craig who came out on top finishing p1 and simon just behind in p2 however this was more than that it was a 1st place victory for the whole team as history was made having both reid brothers on the top step

Race 5 this was where the highs instantly turned to lows, craig was starting from the very back and simon was on 3rd row the lights went out and with some pushing going on simon pulled him self away and went for the gravel to keep him and his truck safe after the restart all the truck’s got around the first corner safe until simon unfortunately got sent the other way, he did all he could to slow the truck down and avoid the wall however there was nothing he could do it was on a very fast corner with no run off and being pushed the opposite way to the track he just braced him self and took the impact as majority of you seen simon is one big giant and got out the truck quickly, a massive thank you to all the medics and marshalls who got to hik so quickly! he’s in pain but he’ll recover, as for his truck well the whole team have now got to go back to the drawing board and bring it back to life yet again 🔧

Day 1 Donington ✅

Started the day with qualifying where both Craig and Simon had a good session and the top 10 were all within a second
Craig had p6 and Simon p10

After a few adjustments ahead of race 1 both Craig and Simon gained places and drove their own race, unfortunately a few track limits punished Craig and dropped him to p7 and Simon had a clean race making him finish p4

Race 2 both Simon and Craig had some work to do and get some passes done early on, they had great clean battles but unfortunately got stuck in a train so both brought their trucks home safe and sound, Craig p7 and Simon p8

We go again tomorrow and chase down that podium spot🏆
