We are pleased to say that we will have 4 teams in the Ceredigion Snooker league this season, with 2 teams in Division 2, plus 2 teams in the first Division .The league runs from September to April, is a great source of friendly competition and something we are proud to be a part of.
Good luck to everyone competing this year. We hope it can be a year where our teams can challenge for honours in both Divisions.

Rydym yn falch I ddweud bydd gennym bedwar tîm yng Nghynghrair Snwcer Ceredigion eto'r tymor hwn – dau dîm yn yr Ail Adran a dau dîm yn yr Adran Gyntaf. Mae'r gynghrair yn rhedeg o fis Medi i fis Ebrill; mae'n ffynhonnell wych o gystadleuaeth gyfeillgar ac yn rhywbeth rydym yn falch o fod yn rhan ohono.
Pob lwc i bawb sy'n cystadlu eleni. Gobeithiwn y bydd hwn yn flwyddyn lle gall ein timau herio am anrhydeddau yn y ddwy adran.

Many thanks to everyone who attended 'lucky dip' doubles competition yesterday.

Eight teams competed in two groups for a spot in the final with Thomas Clemas & Peter Davies topping Group 1, and Keith Thomas & Iwan Williams showing to be the strongest pair in Group 2. Both teams having won 5 of their 6 group stage frames.

A mention to David Hudson and Finley Hayward, plus Louis Mayers and Steffan Walters, with strong showings in their respective groups.

After a cagey few frames and some very solid safety play, it was Keith & Iwan who prevailed as 2-0 winners.

Thankyou to Paul Adams and Tom for their help before, and on the day. Hopefully we can squeeze another competition in before the league season starts in September...................................................................................

Diolch yn fawr i bawb a fynychodd y gystadleuaeth parau 'lucky dip' ddoe.

Cystadlodd wyth tîm mewn dau grŵp am le yn y rownd derfynol; Thomas Clemas a Peter Davies ddaeth ar frig Grŵp 1, a Keith Thomas ac Iwan Williams yn profi i fod y pâr cryfa yn Grŵp 2. Roedd y ddau dîm wedi ennill 5 o'u 6 ffrâm yn y cam grŵp.

Sôn am David Hudson a Finley Hayward, yn ogystal â Louis Mayers a Steffan Walters, gyda berfformiadau cryf yn eu grwpiau priodol.

Ar ôl ychydig o fframiau gofalus a gêm amddiffynnol gadarn iawn, Keith ac Iwan a lwyddodd i ennill 2-0.

Diolch i Paul Adams a Tom am eu cymorth cyn, ac ar y diwrnod ei hun. Gobeithio y gallwn drefnu cystadleuaeth arall cyn i dymor y gynghrair ddechrau ym mis Medi.

Diolch, Sec.

A big congratulations to Clwb Snwcer Llandysul Snooker Club member Keith Thomas on qualifying for the Welsh Seniors team.
As modest as ever, Keith kept his achievement fairly quiet but he'll be in Carlow this weekend to take on the Republic of Ireland Seniors team.

Da iawn a Pob lwc Keith 👍🤝

Llongyfarchiadau mawr i Keith Thomas, aelod o Glwb Snwcer Llandysul, ar gymhwyso ar gyfer tîm Hŷn Cymru.
Mor ddiymhongar ag erioed, cadwodd Keith ei lwyddiant yn eitha tawel, ond bydd yn Carlow y penwythnos hwn i gystadlu yn erbyn tîm Hŷn Gweriniaeth Iwerddon.

This week we had a visit from World Snooker Services of Bristol. A big thanks to Eugene and his team who fitted No.10 tournament cloth to all 3 tables.

This week also marked the start of our ladder competition, and with the Ceredigion Summer league fast approaching, plus our own competition on Sunday, it marks a pretty busy period for the club!

If you would like to join one of the most active and friendliest clubs in Ceredigion, drop us a message and we'll be happy to arrange an induction!.................................................................................

Yr wysnoth yma, cawsom ymweliad gan World Snooker Services o Bristol. Diolch yn fawr i Eugene a'i dîm a osododd frethyn No.10 ar bob un o'r 3 bwrdd.

Yr wythnos hon hefyd oedd dechrau ein cystadleuaeth ysgol, a chyda chynghrair Haf Ceredigion yn agosáu'n gyflym, ynghyd â'n cystadleuaeth ein hunain ddydd Sul, mae'n nodi cyfnod prysur iawn i'r clwb!

Os hoffech ymuno ag un o'r clybiau mwyaf gweithgar a chyfeillgar yng Ngheredigion, anfonwch neges atom a byddwn yn hapus i drefnu sesiwn gyflwyno!

Well done to Geraint Davies on equalling his highest break of 93, just over a year on from his previous effort. Surely a century can't be far away?

Da iawn Geraint Davies am ailadrodd ei ymgais orau o 93, ychydig dros flwyddyn ar ôl ei ymdrech flaenorol. Os bosib mae ei ganrif gyntaf ddim ymhell i ffwrdd nawr?
