Sorry we’ve been so quiet on social media — it’s been a busy couple of months behind the scenes! With loads going on at the club and so many new faces joining, things have been non-stop… in the best way 💪

We’re incredibly proud to share that three of our lifters — Izzy, Charlie and Naomi — have been selected for the Welsh Development Squad 👏
And this weekend, Izzy and Charlie headed off to the Welsh Development Camp, representing Diamond — we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and dedication 💎

A huge, huge thank you as well to Weightlifting House for sending out an amazing bundle of goodies for our lifters to train with — the support means so much to us 🖤

This Saturday, we’ve got a group of lifters travelling down to South Wales for their first competition of the year — make sure to keep an eye out for updates on how they get on! 🏋️‍♀️

Llandudno weightlifting gym saved from closure where kids given real purpose Club members as young as six acquire strength and discipline - providing they 'eat their chicken'. Many are hooked and say they prefer the sport to football

Today we took a group of our lifters over to Number One Flintshire for a brilliant day of lifting 🙌

A huge thank you to the hosts for putting on such a great event — it was a day full of fun, experience and great energy 💪

It was fantastic to see some of our youngest lifters step onto the platform for the first time and get a taste of competition life 🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️

We’re so proud of everyone who took part — every lift, every smile, every bit of confidence gained 👏

💎✨ Competition Spotlight – Izzy ✨💎

Stepping onto the platform in the U15 69kg+ category, Izzy delivered a fantastic performance at the British Weightlifting Championships 🙌.

She went 4/6 lifts with:

⚡ Total: 141kg

Her hard work and determination earned her a bronze medal 🥉 – an incredible result on the national stage! 💪
