⛰️ Is Tryfan a walk… or a scramble?

If you’ve climbed Snowdon and fancy something a little more adventurous, Tryfan is a very different experience.

There’s no straightforward path all the way to the summit. As you get higher, you’ll increasingly use your hands as well as your feet, picking your way through the rocks and enjoying some proper hands-on scrambling.

And when you finally reach the top, there’s always the big question…

Would you make the leap between Adam and Eve? 😬

We’re heading up Tryfan this Friday and still have places available if you fancy experiencing it with one of our guides.

A pleasant surprise greeted Simon and Hywyn and their sunrise teams this morning! ☀️⛰️

The forecast suggested there was little chance of anything other than fog and cloud. And whilst we didn’t actually see the sun rise, we were treated to these amazing views from the summit instead!

There are still places available with Hywyn next Saturday (29th) if you’d like to experience a Snowdon sunrise for yourself.

Huge congratulations to this weekend’s brilliant team of National Navigation Award Scheme Silver Navigator Award recipitents!

They spent a warm weekend in the Peak District developing their navigation skills, tackling more challenging terrain and making confident route-finding decisions - and everyone did a fantastic job.

Plenty of learning, laughs and well-earned success along the way. Congratulations Georgios, James, Ksenija, Niels and Tom - you should be very proud of yourselves! 👏⛰️

Crib Goch days don’t get much better than this! ☀️⛰️

Simon was out yesterday with this brilliant group taking on one of the most exciting mountain days in Eryri - the spectacular Crib Goch.

Blue skies, incredible views and plenty of hands-on-rock scrambling as the team made their way along that famous knife-edge ridge. Just look at those views! 😍

Crib Goch is definitely not your average walk up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). It’s exposed, exhilarating and a proper adventure; but with an experienced MountainXperience guide alongside you, it’s an amazing challenge for anyone ready to take their mountain days to the next level.

Fancy giving it a go? We’ve got more guided Crib Goch adventures throughout August but don’t hang around - places are filling fast!👇
