Evertonians heading to Hill Dickinson Stadium for Saturday's home pre-season fixture against Lille will notice a change to the Budweiser Plaza after the first stones making up The Dock Lines were installed. 💙
Over the summer the new fan feature, which has seen personalised granite stones placed within the lovingly restored railway tracks outside the waterfront stadium, has taken shape.
Thousands of engraved stones have been meticulously laid within the striking new installation, which sees approximately 400 square metres of track closest to the Regent Road wall infilled with personal messages from our worldwide supporter base.
Fans who were previously informed that their stones were being installed in this first phase will today receive emails outlining the location of their stone within the installation.
The second phase of The Dock Lines installations will take place later in the season.
The Dock Lines, which is being delivered by Intaglio Creative, the team behind the hugely successful Everton Way, celebrates Everton’s waterfront home, the Club’s illustrious history and the proud maritime heritage of Liverpool’s docklands.
The initiative will also pay homage to the famous Archibald Leitch criss-cross truss pattern that was an iconic feature of Goodison Park, symbolising how Everton’s past and future are forever connected.
Stones remain available to purchase in a range of sizes and designs, starting from just £49, making them a perfect keepsake. Supporters can also purchase a replica stone in an Everton-branded display box (from £49), and a personalised A4 certificate of authentication (£14.99).
