🚧 Wavertree High Street works - UPCOMING CLOSURE 🚧

We are currently carrying out works to improve pedestrian safety and traffic flow around Picton Road, including a new pedestrian crossing on the junction between Wellington Road.

To allow this work to be completed safely, diversions will be in place from Tuesday 1 September to mid-October:

🚗 Wellington Road will be closed to vehicles near the junction with Picton Road
🚧 Diversions will be in place to assist people in avoiding the area
🚦 Rathbone Road and Picton High Street will have a three-way traffic system in place
🚍 Bus services, including the 204, 60 and 619 (PM) will be impacted

South Liverpool cyclocross training nights are back this week!

A bunch of us from different clubs get together for some relaxed, social training to work on all the skills you’ll need for racing cross. Whether you’re an experienced racer or you’ve never tried cyclocross before, everyone is welcome.

New to cross? No problem — we’ll show you the ropes and help you build the skills and confidence you need for your first race.

Went for a little spin down to Litherland Circuit League on Wednesday night to watch the racing and shoot a few pics.

That was the last round for 2026 but they’ll be back next year.
