We have I’m Famous photography company coming in on Monday 12th & Tuesday 13th October

They take really nice photos of the students which make lovely keepsakes
And they also take individual photos of everyone for our yearly school photo
Your Photoshoot is free.
And you can Buy printed photos on the night or online afterwards.

On this block of curriculum purple black belts and higher are focusing on 4 count combinations
1. Left round house kick, cross, hook, right roundhouse kick
2. Right round house kick, hook, cross, left round house kick

We can add the four counts into longer combinations that flow nicely helping body mechanics etc
1. Jab, cross, hook, duck left, hook, cross, left 4 count
2. Jab, cross, hook, uppercut, duck right, cross, hook, right 4 count

Nothing makes me prouder than watching my own students excel and succeed. 💛

Marina started training with me when she was just 6 years old. More than 10 years later, I watched her take a full class tonight with so much confidence — and I couldn’t have been prouder. 🌟

I’ve always found it hard to take a step back from teaching. But watching her tonight reminded me that growth isn’t about holding on. It’s about knowing when to let go, release a little control, and let others shine… just like my mentor once did for me. 🙏

Did you know martial arts can shape so much more than kicks and punches? 🥋✨

At Family Martial Arts Leadership Academy, our 3–5 year olds build skills that last well beyond the mats and that help them with their social, emotional and physical development 💪

🎯 Focus — learning to watch, stay on the spot, and finish a short sequence without getting distracted.

👂 Listening skills — stopping, looking, and listening before they move, so instructions stick the first time.

🤸 Co-ordination — kicks, punches, balance and games that help little arms, legs and cores work together.

🌟 Confidence — trying something new in a fun, supportive class, then standing a little taller each week.
