🥋 KUGB England at the Inaugural England Karate National Championships 🏆

We are excited to announce that the KUGB will be taking part in the inaugural England Karate National Championships, in collaboration with Karate England.

England Karate is the English governing body for Karate, supporting Karate organisations across the country and working to promote high standards and collaboration throughout English Karate.

This historic first National Championships will bring together competitors from associations across England, and we are proud that members of our KUGB England Squad will be representing us alongside karateka from across the country.
Our members will compete in Kata and Kumite, and we wish every member of the squad the very best of luck.

Venue: University of Warwick Coventry, CV4 7EU
Doors open: 8:30am
Competition starts: 9:00am

REMINDER - REGIONAL COURSE - WALES

On Saturday, September 19th, led by Sensei Vicky Phillips (6th Dan) and Sensei Dean Acreman (5th Dan), KUGB Wales will be hosting a FREE course for all KUGB Members.

Location: The Engine House, High Street, Merthyr Tydfil CF48 3HA
Training Schedule:
11.00am – 12.30pm: Kata
12:30pm – 2:00pm: Kumite

🥋CENTRAL REGION ALL GRADES COURSE AND KATA SQUAD TRAINING

Today, the KUGB Central Region hosted an All Grades Course with Sensei Frank Brennan, 8th Dan - another fantastic turnout, well done everyone.

Following the course, the Central Region Kata Squad Training took place, which seen members who were selected in January come together for an afternoon of great training.

While the All Grades Course is hosted by and takes place within the KUGB Central Region, it is proudly supported and attended by KUGB members from across the UK, making it a great opportunity to train together and share knowledge.

Sunday 6th December - Lilleshall

Yesterday, we held the KUGB Scotland Kata and Kumite Course in Glasgow with Sensei John Bruce.

This was another successful event, packed with valuable training and insights to both Kata and Kumite to help members prepare for upcoming competitions and gradings. Well done to everyone who attended.
