Our new Womenās Head Coach & Assistant Menās Head Coach has some strong words for the club!
āIām thrilled to be joining Sefton Rugby Club as Head Coach of the Womenās Section and Assistant Coach of the Menās Section alongside Danny.
Sefton RUFC is a club with clear ambition, strong foundations, and a real desire to keep moving forward. Itās an exciting opportunity to come on board at such a positive time for the club, and Iām looking forward to playing my part in what promises to be a bright future.
Iām looking forward to getting stuck in and helping build on the success already achieved, particularly within the womenās section, while supporting the continued development of the menās programme. For me, itās about creating an environment where players can enjoy their rugby, challenge themselves, develop their skills, and perform to the best of their ability.
Rugby clubs are built by good people, and Iām excited to meet the players, coaches, volunteers and supporters who make Sefton what it is. Iām looking forward to working hard, raising standards, and helping drive the club forward both on and off the pitch.
Canāt wait to get started and see what we can achieve together this season.ā

A statement of intent from our new Head Coach!
āIām delighted to be joining Sefton Rugby Club as Head Coach and becoming part of what I believe is one of the most exciting projects in local rugby.
From the very first conversations, it was clear that this is a club with ambition, great people, and huge potential. Thatās something I wanted to be part of.
My focus is simple: build on the strong foundations already in place, create an environment where players enjoy their rugby, challenge themselves, and strive to improve every week. I want us to train hard, play an exciting brand of rugby, and develop a culture built on commitment, accountability, and pride in the shirt.
With three senior menās teams, a Colts section, and a thriving minis and juniors setup, thereās every reason to believe this club can continue to grow and achieve great things.
Together with Hannah, weāre looking forward to building something special, creating an environment that players are proud to be part of, and helping Sefton Rugby Club continue its journey both on and off the field.
Iām excited for whatās ahead and canāt wait to get started.
See you all on 3rd Julyā

Our Senior section recently decended on Macclesfield 7s with 2 Menās 7s teams & Ladies 10s team.
Missed kicks from Luke AJ Griffiths & Sian Eleri stopped the clean sweep of all the finals. But the Menās 1s team took down the Social tournament and defended our Plate & crate from last year!
A big thank you to O SQUARE for the lovely new Menās kits!
