π Pony Club Area 11 Dressage Qualifier 2026
What a fantastic day for Mid Surrey Pony Club at the Area 11 Dressage Qualifier held yesterday at East Bysshe!
A huge thank you to West Kent Sevenoaks Pony Club for running such a friendly, welcoming and impeccably organised competition, and to Hilden Feeds for their sponsorship.
We were incredibly proud to have combinations competing across every section. Our hugely supportive DC, Gina Kitchener, was there from start to finish, watching all 35 tests and cheering on every rider throughout the day.
Every rider and pony was beautifully presented, rode with determination and represented Mid Surrey brilliantly. It was wonderful to see such fantastic teamwork, encouragement and sportsmanship throughout the day.
Congratulations to all of our competitors. We had teams and individuals placed up to 6th, with an incredible number of combinations qualifying for either the NAF Regional Championships or the JCB Pony Club National Championshipsthis August.

A special congratulations to Jess B, who secured 4th place in the Junior Girls and has qualified for the Pony Club Championships β Mid Surrey's first qualifier for Champs this season! ππ

A standout performance came from Hugo P, who achieved a fantastic 1400 ride score (maximum points!), while Jess's excellent round secured her Championship qualification.
A huge thank you to Munstead Horse Trials for hosting the Area 11 Tet ride. The venue was friendly, welcoming and professionally run and we couldn't be more grateful for their support.
On Sunday, our tetrathletes were joined by our triathletes at Sutton Valence School to complete the running, shooting and swimming phases.

π¦ ANNUAL 12 & under SHOW
A huge thank you to every competitor who joined us on Sunday.
Whether you came home with a rosette, a trophy, a qualification, or simply new memories you should all be incredibly proud of your achievements.
The smiles, determination and sportsmanship shown throughout the day were wonderful to see.
A special thank you goes to all the parents, grandparents, supporters & helpers who make these events possible. οΏΌ
From early starts bathing & plaiting ponies to cheering from the ringside and helping nervous riders prepare for their classes, your support is invaluable.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our Show Secretary, Sue Arnold, whose hard work, organisation and dedication were instrumental in making the day such a success. Alongside Sue, her merry band of volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes before, during and after the show to ensure everything ran smoothly. From setting up rings and parking vehicles to scoring, stewarding and presenting prizes, these events simply couldn't happen without you.
Thank you also to our judges, stewards, sponsors, caterers, first aid team and Equipassion photographer for helping to make the day so enjoyable for everyone.

What a fantastic Half Term for MSPC Members! π΄βοΈ
We packed a huge amount into the week, with members enjoying a wide range of training, competitions and tests.
The week began with Horse & Pony Care Training and a Working Party to help prepare the field for our Novice Show. Members then put their knowledge to the test during Achievement Badge Testing, working hard to gain new badges and skills.
Sunday saw our popular Novice Show, with riders enjoying a great day of competition and gaining valuable experience in the ring.
Road Safety was a major focus during the week, with both dismounted training sessions and Road Safety Tests taking place. Well done to everyone who took part and developed these important skills for riding safely on the roads.
We were also delighted to have members representing the branch at the Area 11 Horse & Pony Care Qualifier at Squirrels Riding School, demonstrating excellent knowledge and teamwork.
The week concluded with our Efficiency Tests (E, D, D+ and C) and the C+ Care Test. Congratulations to all those who took their tests and achieved new milestones in their Pony Club journey.
A huge thank you to all our instructors, volunteers, organisers and parents who helped make the week such a success.
Most importantly, well done to all our members for their enthusiasm, hard work and commitment π
