You do not need to be perfect all of the time to make progress.

How’s obsessing over the number of calories you burn during a workout working out for you?
Are you actually getting leaner and seeing visible results…
Or are you chasing a number that, in the grand scheme of things, doesn’t matter all that much?
Instead, focus on the numbers that actually drive progress:
1️⃣ How many times are you training each week? Are you tracking your lifts and getting stronger over time?
2️⃣ Are you consistently hitting your calorie target across the week?
3️⃣ Are you hitting your protein target each day?
Those are the numbers that lead to fat loss, muscle gain, and long-term progress.
Not the calorie burn on your fitness watch.

“What is better, Increasing the weight each set or keeping the same weight across all sets for an exercise?” 🤔
Well, it all depends on your goal!
But first, what do we mean by Increasing the weight each set? ⬇️
Exercise: Back Squats
Set 1: 40kg
Set 2: 50kg
Set 3: 60kg
This is a great approach if you’re looking to get stronger 💥
And, what do we mean by keeping the same weight across all sets? ⬇️
Exercise: Back Squats
Set 1: 52.5kg
Set 2: 52.5kg
Set 3: 52.5kg
This is the approach to take if you’re looking to build muscle 💪🏻
But beyond this question is a more important focus
How hard you train - Intensity 🔥
To get the most out of each set we recommend training close (0-2 reps) to failure (unable to do another rep)
So back to our question…
If you increase the weight each set
Chances are your first few sets weren’t very stimulating
They’re your warm up sets - which may have had 6+ Reps left in the tank!
Want to add size & build lbs of muscle??
Make sure every set you do - you’re training within a close proximity to failure.
We support our members to do this by checking in with them at the end of a set to rate the difficulty..
Next time you do a set, ask yourself:
“How many more reps could I have got?”
