This month goes to a player who has really come back with a bang! Over the last few weeks she has been fantastic. Defensively, she is fierce, sticks to her player brilliantly and never gives up on a challenge. At the the other end of the court, her shooting continues to go from strength to strength. What has impressed us is the energy and determination she brings every week. She seems to have found the perfect balance in her game like Yin and Yang. She brings the best of both worlds to court. This months award goes to a player who has shown fantastic improvement over the last few months. She has really grown in confidence on the court, becoming more involved in games and making brave decisions with the ball. It’s been brilliant to see her developing a much better understanding of netball and starting to read the game well. She always works hard, listens carefully and gives her best effort every week. Sometimes she can be a little incognito and takes the opposition by surprise to win the ball at key moments in the game! Well done Harriet

Honeys came out flying, finishing Q1 with an 11-0 lead over NW Panthers. Panthers fought back in Q2 & made us work much harder, but the girls kept their composure & rode the momentum right through to the final whistle, taking the win 18-8. Well done Honeys 🌟 A huge thank you to Poppy for stepping in at the last minute due to illness.

Queens were absolutely on fire on Sunday taking the win!! It was a very intense game as both sides defense was immense.
CPOM Darcie did amazing to not shy away from a very strong defence and adapted her game to beat her opponent.
OPOM Veronica was outstanding today playing out of position at GK she did really well using her body to block her shooter out, shutting out opposition opportunities.

Stingers played a well contested game vs Northwich Sapphires on Sunday. It was a tricky game as we were up against fierce competition but there was some beautiful moments of play.
CPOM was Rosie, she was excellent in both the shooting role and the midcourt positions.
OPOM Alice had an amazing game at GD and C, travelling through the court effortlessly.

A lovely game playing our fellow Y1 team, it was a tough challenge but the girls showed some great moments of play, getting some fab interceptions & some good passing. We will continue to work on our spacing & faster releases in training to improve our game play. What a great effort from the girls.

What a lovely derby game vs our nova bees, the girls worked excellently using what we have learnt in training to progress the ball up to goal. Better passing choices can be made in the circle which is something we will work on.

Late game vs Nellie’s Ravens & we seemed to really struggle with it. Very slow & flat performance with basic mistakes being made. That said we took the lead from the off 4-0. We struggled to then keep momentum through court and allowed Nellie’s to come back at us. We turned lots of ball, but just couldn’t keep hold of. A loss of 10-8

A super important game for Royals vs a Hawks team that continue to go from strength to strength. The girls were well up for it & got off to a strong start thanks to some brilliant passing & sharp shooting.
Their passing & their hard work creating space is what won us the game!

Great performance today from our warriors against Penketh Kittens, we worked on the basics & executed them well, working well as a team they worked hard to make good decisions and work the ball to goal.
CPOM - Phoebe - great all round game today and shone in each position.
OPOM - Millie - continues to shine in defence, the turnover queen.

Scissors came out strong vs Galaxy Twinkle, bringing the ball up nice and high which kept the flow down court beautifully. The teamwork was brilliant -supporting each other, resetting when needed, and working hard all game.Their effort paid off with a well‑earned 12–8 win.
OPOM Sienna Calm and composed… sank 5 goals and never looked flustered.
CPOM Lola Came alive in defence with brilliant two‑handed interceptions

Buzzers played Beechwood Lightning today, the girls brought training onto the court with intention, precision, every buzzer understood their role on court taking the win 33-14.

🌸🐝 FLOWER BEES 🌸🐝 y5/6 div 3🐝
What a game for Flowers against the new team Alsager today. The girls started off slow & a little bit flat but once they found their rhythm they were on fire! With excellent defence from the girls, turning over plenty of ball, meaning attack could create a lot of opportunities. A solid performance from all 7 girls today with lots of red, sweaty faces at the end. Tough with only 7 but the girls did not once give up despite taking the lead early on. A strong win of 26-9
