I'm thinking of putting an OC1 come and try it day on around 22/23 August. at Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham.
It will be a couple of weeks before British Championships, so could be good to get you ready for possibly a first competition or even some time in a boat before buying one.
We will have plenty of boats to try and will be able to fit many shapes and sizes.
Would you be interested and what would you like from the day?
I'm hoping to get an aspiring coach out with us. We can look at anything you want. We can do roll sessions on the lake or competitive runs, or just look at outfitting etc.
Let me know what you would like.

All our boats can be fully customised. You can choose the colour, the design or whatever you want. There is almost no end of what you can do.
With exciting news coming with regards to the unbelievable sport of OC1, why wouldn't you want to try?

🏆 Deutscher Meister 2025 – OC1! 🛶🔥

German Champion 2025 – OC1! 🛶🔥
What a weekend! At the German Canoe Freestyle Championships, I secured first place in the OC1.
The conditions in Neheim-Hüsten were excellent, and the level of all the competitors was extremely high – so I'm all the more delighted that I was able to deliver a really clean run in the final. The boat ran smoothly, the moves were spot on, and the atmosphere was amazing. 🙌
Huge respect to everyone who paddled with me – especially Finn and Reimar, it was an exciting final! 💪🔥
Thanks to my club, the organisers, all the helpers and, of course, the audience along the course. Without you, it wouldn't have been half as awesome!
Here's to next season! 🚀
Thank you Seppl for the report and the photos.

European Open and British Championships 2025 - OC1
Inlet Gate, Holme Pierrepont. 30th August 2025
A strong line up of OC1 paddlers were out in action to see who would be the Master of Europe and King of Great Britain.
World Champion Eoghan Kelly, World Bronze medalist Harvey Harwood, three time world Championship paddler Connor Proud, GB Championship medal winner Andy Hamilton and Paul Harwood, builder and passionate paddler of the Acid and Junglist OC1 Freestyle boats.
First up was Paul Harwood with an Entry 1, followed by a failed loop and flush, finishing in 5th Place. Eoghan was next, pulling off back loops and lunar orbits in a boat holding over 40 litres of water. He even had time for some air guitar and pulled in 210 points and the Title. Harvey paddled well but could not get a loop to land, finishing in 4th Place. Connor was better off, even attempting a big McNasty, finishing 3rd. Andy had the best entry move of the day. The slap of his paddle echoed off the walls and wooed the crowd in a packed Inlet gate, quickly followed by a back loop and spins giving him Silver medal and 170 points.
Euro Open Champion Eoghan Kelly
