Safe to say… Team Day 2026 was a success. 💚

The whole team swapped their usual jobs for a day of footgolf, scavenger hunts, woodland creations, buggy makeovers, gardening, event planning, blindfolded pint pouring and plenty of laughs.

It was brilliant to have everyone together again from the Coach House, Golf Reception, Greenkeeping, Park Rangers, Events, Marketing, Finance and grow.

Who knew team building could be this much fun?

Fancy doing something a bit different with your own team? We can create corporate team building days packed with fun, creativity and activities that make a real difference to the park.

A quick update for this afternoon and evening at Bowring Park (Monday 29th June), due to a staff team building event:

- The Coach House bar remains open until 9pm this evening, so you’re welcome to join us for a drink until then.

- The kitchen will be closed.

- The lawn and outbar will also be closed for the remainder of the day.

- Golf is open as usual throughout the day.

Thanks for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to normal service soon.

We’re holding a staff training day on the 29th of June to help us continue providing the best possible service.
As a result, our kitchen will close at 2pm to allow all staff to participate.

Please be advised that the Municipal Golf Course will be closed until 2:20pm on Sunday, 28th June.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. The course will reopen for play from 2:20pm onwards.

FREE Dog Wash & Grooming! 🚐🐶

We’re delighted to welcome the Pet Mobile to our venue on 30th June and 1st July, from 12:00pm – 3:00pm each day.

Bring your four-legged friends along for a FREE wash and groom by the professional Pet Mobile team.

It’s the perfect opportunity to give your pooch a little pampering and have them looking and feeling their best. 🐾✨
