1989 GIANT TRACK built and ready to roll again. Some small changes but overall a lovely looking thing.

Another amazing late 80s paint job to go with the previous KONA FIRE MOUNTAIN (side by side in the photos) ...

So close to finishing this one...if only I hadn't left the EXAGE brake barrel adjusters at home 😆 still one of my favourite paint jobs, 1988 KONA FIRE MOUNTAIN so close to finish....

Is 1998 still ok? I hope so as this 1998 SCHWINN MOAB 3 literally jumped into my car and begged for the treatment. Here she is all spruced up and ready to roll again, few bits were changed, some were saved but all in a cracker. Gives BREEZER vibes with the paint job but it's all SCHWINN...

So far so good on the 1989 GIANT TRACK. Wheels looking fresh, frame forks and stem all sorted, headset refitted. Few more parts to go on later but for now she's taking shape

Wheels for the upcoming GIANT TRACK refurbishment done today. On the hunt for either an ARAYA VP-20 32H rim in silver OR a first gen silver LX 7sp rear hub in 36h as at the moment we've got a little mismatch going on but I won't tell if you don't 😬...

The late 80s and early 90s produced some wonderful parts and ideas and near the top of the list must be this -

GENUINE COSMIC TRAIL FRAME BAG!!

Ok, the black was probably the quieter colourway of the range BUT that flash of neon yellow and green sits beautifully against the plain background. A recent acquisition I'm yet to decide whether or not to fit it or frame it 🤔

Had a free hour and decisions had to be made. Either finish the 1991 MUDDY FOX PATHFINDER, work on the 1988 KONA FIRE MOUNTAIN or strip the 1989 GIANT TRACK. As you can see the winner was........

She needs a new rear wheel but I've got that sorted, some fresh rubber (grips and tyres) and a full strip and rebuild but when's that ever stopped me 🤣
