This is the same brand and shape that was worn by Tony Rominger in the 1995 Giro d’Italia.

Briko produced some great helmets back in the 1990s and well as some very funky and stylish sunglasses.

The shape of this helmet, also reminds me of the shape of the carbon Lotus helmet Chris Boardman wore when he won gold in Barcelona.

I’ve a few jerseys in my collection which Johan has kindly signed.

Johan rode for the Belgian professional cycling team Lotto for three seasons, from 1990 to 1992. This period served as a critical launching pad for his career, and turned him into a powerhouse classics specialist before he achieved legendary status as the “Lion of Flanders”.
