Congratulations to Adam who smashed his first Ironman distance at Ironman Copenhagen. Adam nailed his training and it all paid off on race day, completing the 140.6 miles in just over 11 hours.

This race is a firm favourite with lots of our members and we look forward to hearing all about it. Well done Adam William 🙌🏼

A huge thank you to Gartan Open Water Swimmers for hosting another fantastic Inch Mile! 🌊🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

Thirteen hardy LTC swimmers took the plunge off the ferry for the mile-long crossing of Lough Swilly, from Inch Island back to Rathmullan.

Conditions were challenging with metre-high white-tops, but an outgoing tide and an opposing westerly wind kept the swim lines on target, showing the organisers knew what they were talking about! 💪

A massive thank you to the outstanding safety crew for keeping a watchful eye on everyone throughout, particularly looking after one of our own who had a run-in with the dreaded lion’s mane. huge congratulations to all 13 of our swimmers. You should be very proud! 👏

Jeff was on his marathon adventures again at the We Run Wild NI Belfast 24hr event. Jeff Curry clocked up 25.4 laps of Victoria Park to knock out another marathon. Great running, Jeff 👏🏼

Kudos to Adam who raced the Skerries Sprint Triathlon hosted by Fingal Triathlon Club This was a Triathlon Ireland National Series race with Adam narrowly missing out on the overall podium but snapping up an Age Group win. Fantastic racing, Adam 💪🏼

Well done to our swimmers who participated in the Lord and Lady of the Lake swim at Camlough recently. This is an annual event organised by infinity Swim to raise funds for Evora Hospice

The swim was a 2.2km point-to-point swim with the option of wetsuit or skins. Well done to Gail Pedlow and Lee NíMhurchú for braving the skins swim.

It was fantastic to see the parents inspiring the next generation with Órla, Tara and Zoe taking on the junior swim. Well done Team Kennedy and Team Fraser 👏🏼

Our ultra runners have been at it again with Jeff & Tyrone taking part in the We Run Wild NI Slieve Gullion Ultra. Jeff Curry added another marathon to his long list and Tyrone Mcshane added the 64km ultra to his ultra list. Well done guys 💪🏼

Huge well done to club member Emily who took on IRONMAN UK Swansea 70.3. This was race 2 of 5 for who is aiming to become the first female to complete all of the UK Ironman and 70.3 races this year. Emily is supporting a number of charities in her endeavours. Her charity link is in our bio if you would like to donate.
