What's happening this weekend?

**Competition Golf**
This weekend is our Gents Open on Saturday. On Sunday we have the Tom Miller Trophy (Stableford). We'll run a mixed sweep on Wednesday and the County Seniors Betterball is on Thursday at WLGC - still slots available.

**Last week's winners**
Brodie Grieve and Chris Ramsay won the AR King Invitational Betterball. Alexander Storm was the leading scorer in Wednesday Bowl 9. And James Rutherford won the season-long Wednesday Bowl.

**1 Morning, 2 Aces**
Bryan Purdie (at 6th) and Ryan Storie (at 15th) both recorded a hole-in-one last Thursday morning!

**Team Results**
In the Summer League, West Lothian beat Uphall 4.5 - 1.5 to qualify for the semi-finals at Harburn on 27 September.

**County Championship success**
Ryan Burns won Class 1 Scratch Event at Uphall and Ainslie Hamilton won the Class 2 Scratch Event at Deer Park.

**And more success**
Pete Cowen won his age group in the Nairn Dunbar Seniors Open.

What's happening this weekend?

**Competition Golf**
This weekend we have the AR King Invitational on Sunday. Still slots available if you want to play morning or afternoon. And we have our final Wednesday Bowl in mid-week, James Rutherford leads. The ladies have Cadell Trophy R1 & 2 on Saturday/Sunday.

**Last week's winners**
Mark Rodgers won our August Medal, David McClure and Jason Little won the Centenary Fourball Betterball. Robert Hamilton was leading scorer in Wednesday Bowl 8. Congratulations to all.

**Team result**
The Summer League team drew with Bathgate at home. A draw against Uphall at home on Tuesday will see them into the semi-finals.

This weekend is the August Medal on Saturday plus a ladies Par Competition. On Sunday it's our Mixed Centenary Fourball and in mid-week it's Wednesday Bowl 8.

**Last week's winners**
Stuart Johnston won the Seaham Trophy, Gordon Meikle won the Lister Seniors and Andrew Lapsley won the Hyslop Veterans. Our Mixed Greensomes Open was won by Keith and Anne Ross from Glasgow Gailes/West Kilbride. Margo Gardner and Mick McGrogan won the scratch prize.

**Ladies at Royal Tarlair**
Our ladies travelled to Royal Tarlair to play a Mixed Greensomes and 4 day competition. Lesley Gibb won the Greensomes with Mark Fraser. During the 4 day event, Margo won the Scratch Prize, Sandra Smith won the Consolation Stableford and the Consolation Greensomes was won by Lesley Gibb and Darcey Sharp.
