🇮🇪 International Instructors Course 2026 🇮🇪

This weekend we were proud to have four of our instructors / Blackbelts from Master Gilmour Blackbelt Academy representing both our academy and Scotland at the International Instructors Course in Limerick, Ireland.

Representing the academy were:
🥋 Master Derek Gilmour – 8th Degree
🥋 Ms Chloe Ritchie – 4th Degree
🥋 Mr Neil Paterson – 3rd Degree
🥋 Mr Lewis Frickleton – 2nd Degree

The International Instructors Course is an opportunity to learn from some of the most senior instructors in the ITF, ensuring we continue to develop our knowledge, refine our teaching methods, and bring the very latest technical instruction back to our students.

We’re passionate about continually improving, because our students deserve the very best instruction possible. Investing in our own development allows us to continue providing high-quality, up-to-date training for everyone at the academy.

A fantastic weekend of learning, development and representing Scotland with pride.

Now it’s time to bring that knowledge home and put it into practice in class!
