Last week there was a plethora of news articles about a CEO who had sacked his entire HR team because they were making up problems. This piqued my curiosity. Was it simply an ego issue or was there something more important here? As a retired Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, as well as being a psychologist, I was curious as to what the problem could really be.
