Here at Thin Blue Line UK we Stand With Our Policing Family 👮🏻‍♀️💙👮🏾‍♂️.

We feel we cannot stay silent. The decision to allow the killers of police officers to remain eligible for early release is beyond unacceptable . We feel that it’s a direct insult to every officer who puts their life on the line and to the families who live with the consequences 👮🏽‍♂️💙👮🏼‍♀️.

Aileen O’Connor, Chair of Thames Valley Police Federation, said it best “This decision pours salt into wounds that have never healed. Andrew Harper’s family deserved better. Every police officer in this country deserves better”.

Police officers run towards danger when everyone else runs away. Officers deserve protection, respect, and justice. We know from the work that we do that the job has wider consequences and impacts on officers physical and mental health is huge. Officers should not feel not to be told their lives carry less weight under the law 🧠💙🌳.

Be part of one of the biggest dressage events of the year as Pickering Grange Equestrian hosts the Senior & Para Home Nations from 27th–30th August 2026.

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable writers to support our judges throughout the competition. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the event. No previous writing experience is required – full training and support will be provided.

As a writer, you'll gain a unique insight into how judges assess each test, making this a fantastic opportunity for riders, coaches, and anyone interested in developing their knowledge of dressage.

As a thank you for your time, you'll receive:

✨ Complimentary arena hire or competition entry at Pickering Grange Equestrian

Whilst our riders gave their all across every discipline during , our Gala Evening once again reminded us that the Games are just as much about friendship, laughter and bringing our incredible community together.

A huge thank you to 𝗠𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝘆 𝗞𝗶𝗿𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 and Team Bedmax for helping make this year's Ride & Run such an incredible success. From the fancy dress to the teamwork, determination and plenty of laughs along the way, every competitor embraced the spirit of the event and made it truly unforgettable.

As Rachel from Pickering Grange perfectly described it, the atmosphere was simply "electric." ⚡

Today, we proudly recognise 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 and stand alongside all those who serve, have served, and continue to support our Armed Forces community.

Coinciding with PTSD Awareness Day 2026, we also want to take a moment to acknowledge those who are fighting battles that cannot always be seen.

At Forces Equine, we understand that PTSD can affect daily life in ways that others may never fully appreciate. Whether you are serving, a veteran, a family member, or someone supporting a loved one, please remember that you do not have to face it alone.

If you ever need a chat, a listening ear, or simply someone who understands, please drop us a message or pick up the phone. We may not have all the answers, but we will always make time to listen.

Together, we support one another. Together, we build each other up. Together, we remind one another that there is strength in community.
