Whilst our riders gave their all across every discipline during , our Gala Evening once again reminded us that the Games are just as much about friendship, laughter and bringing our incredible community together.

A huge thank you to 𝗠𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝘆 𝗞𝗶𝗿𝗸𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 and Team Bedmax for helping make this year's Ride & Run such an incredible success. From the fancy dress to the teamwork, determination and plenty of laughs along the way, every competitor embraced the spirit of the event and made it truly unforgettable.

As Rachel from Pickering Grange perfectly described it, the atmosphere was simply "electric." ⚡

Today, we proudly recognise 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 and stand alongside all those who serve, have served, and continue to support our Armed Forces community.

Coinciding with PTSD Awareness Day 2026, we also want to take a moment to acknowledge those who are fighting battles that cannot always be seen.

At Forces Equine, we understand that PTSD can affect daily life in ways that others may never fully appreciate. Whether you are serving, a veteran, a family member, or someone supporting a loved one, please remember that you do not have to face it alone.

If you ever need a chat, a listening ear, or simply someone who understands, please drop us a message or pick up the phone. We may not have all the answers, but we will always make time to listen.

Together, we support one another. Together, we build each other up. Together, we remind one another that there is strength in community.

As we celebrate Armed Forces Week 2026, we would like to take a moment to recognise and thank all serving personnel, veterans, reservists, cadet forces, military families and those who have supported our Armed Forces community.

At Forces Equine, we are proud to support those who serve and have served our country, providing opportunities to connect, compete and thrive through a shared passion for horses.

Your dedication, sacrifice and commitment do not go unnoticed. This week, and every week, we salute you.

As we reflect on the Forces Equine Games 2026, we are filled with pride, gratitude and excitement for what lies ahead.

Held at the fantastic Pickering Grange Equestrian Centre, brought together competitors, volunteers, officials, sponsors and supporters from across the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, Veterans Community and beyond for an unforgettable celebration of equitation, teamwork and friendship.

Over the course of the weekend, we witnessed outstanding horsemanship, determined competition, incredible sportsmanship and countless moments that reminded us exactly why Forces Equine exists – to bring people together through the art of equitation.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of our sponsors and partners whose support helped make the event possible. Your commitment to our community allows us to continue creating opportunities and experiences for our members year after year.

We were also honoured to host the Equestrian Leg of the Gratitude Games as their Official Equestrian Partner. It was a privilege to welcome competitors taking part in such an important initiative and we are delighted to confirm that we look forward to hosting the equestrian leg once again next year.

A very special thank you goes to Jan, who after 13 years supporting the Forces Equine Games, has retired at the incredible age of 75.

Jan has been an integral part of the Forces Equine family and has contributed countless hours to helping make our events a success. Her dedication, enthusiasm and support over the years have been truly remarkable and we cannot thank her enough for everything she has done.

The future is also looking incredibly exciting.

Following our official post-event meeting with the Pickering Grange Equestrian team and Forces Equine Show Director, Debi Heath French, plans are already underway for exciting new training opportunities and a brand-new Winter Show.

Thanks to the valuable feedback received from competitors and supporters, we are now in a position to make future events bigger, better and even more rewarding for our community.
