Sorry everyone, I’ve been a little quiet of late! Maybe the answer is that we’ve had coaches taking their summer breaks and charging their batteries for what is going to be a very busy period right up to Christmas! 🎄

There’s plenty coming up, so it’s been good for everyone to have a little time to recharge before we get stuck into what promises to be a busy few months ahead.

Sponsorship with a difference…

We often get asked as a coaching group if we can provide sponsorship, and the question we always ask is:

“What do we actually get back from this?”

Usually, it’s a bit of social media coverage, maybe a post or two, and then… that’s it.

So we’ve had a rethink. 👌

Yes, we still sponsor events, but we’re now focusing much more on charity events where we can provide vouchers for the winners to come along and enjoy 2 FREE taster sessions with us.

Whether that’s squash or racketball, the aim is simple — get more people through the doors, onto a court and give them the chance to try something they may never have tried before.

And if they enjoy it, hopefully they tell a friend, come back and become part of the squash or racketball community. 🙌

For us as coaches, that’s worth far more than a one-off social media mention.

It’s about introducing new people to the sport we love and hopefully creating new players along the way.
