NEW ANNOUNCEMENT
#711 Cody Asher joins the Bennetts Mcs Racing Team
Cody was overjoyed to find out hes joining the Bennetts camp.
Cody has progressed so much that in order for him to get to the next level we needed extra professional help.
Cody with my mechanical and racing knowledge has come along way.
But there comes a time when he can only progress so far with me.
Yes I know how to set a bike up, fix and help him with racing and track information but not like Bennetts, these boys are absolute professionals compared to me.
We can't thank Dan and the team enough for their recent help and Cody can not wait to show them what hes capable of achieving.

Asher Racing and Race Numbers.
How did we pick them?
A story we are often asked, so I thought i would post our story to our numbers.
Most racers have a reason as to why they run the number they do.
For those of you who don't know me, im Jamie Asher and dad to Boyd Asher and Cody Asher, im normally behind the scenes looking after the bikes and the boys.
But the story starts with me.
I once used to race on Mablethorpe beach in the unlimited class on a Suzuki Sv650 heavly modified, well striped of everything with mx wheels front and rear, mx suspension and NO breaks, yes you heard me no breaks like a lot of us in them days.
I was lucky enough to have lucky number 7 as my number, and I ran that for the time I spent racing there.
Then along came boyd and he wanted to race the beach, we had some r**e tape so made number 11, nothing fancy it was just easy at the time.
Then, flat track began to grow, and boyd wanted a go.
Number 11 was gone, so what did we do? You got it. We had plenty of number 7s about, so we just slaped one on at the end, and that's boyd number 117.
Then along came cody, and he wanted a number like ours. we had 1s and 7s, so he got number 711.
Now, if you were to speak to the boys now, they would probably tell you that we have number 7 because it was dads race number, and we run it for him.
And I'm sure now that is the case as they are free to run whatever number they want.
But the real reason we just had tape and number 7 stickers in the old days.
I hope that clears our story up, we would love to know yours.

ACU rd3
What a fantastic day in the pro lite class.
Firstly congratulations to Archer Williamson on his win not putting foot wrong all day.
#711 Cody Asher was loving the new engine he said it was much faster and the throttle much smoother this allowed him to push much harder.
He had some great battles today with Charlie Ambridge and the final was a real dog fight, both lads swopping places countless times handle bar to handle bar, it could have gone either way.
But today it went codys way and he came away with 2nd place.
Thanks to Dan Bennetts Mcs for being in Codys corner he's made some huge progress today.
And as always to our sponsors
