And that's a wrap on the 2026 edition of the 5k Series. We'll be compiling results from tonight, as well as category and race prize winners in due course. Please bear with us as we do so.

Well, it's been an eventful 4 months, we hope that you have enjoyed it. We've seen a plethora of clubs join us, thousands of competitors, and plenty of action! We'll be recapping the 4 meetings very soon too, keep your eyes peeled.

We'd love to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part, volunteered, cheered, spectated, sponsored, gave up their time, shared their expertise, and had any input into making this happen whatsoever, it really can't go ahead without so many wonderful people.

A few big shout-outs must go to:

Ed Mayes Photography who is becoming a stalwart of this event, lending his immense photography skills for our benefit. Ed has attended all four meetings this year (as well as last year) and produces some incredible images for us.

Lincs Van Hire Ltd whom without, this event literally wouldn't go ahead. It's the name above the door, the financial backing to ensure we have the resources to execute the races, and the hard work behind the scenes to ensure we are geared up for one of the best independent races there is.

And finally, Mr Race Director himself, Sean Baxter who devotes an immense amount of time and energy across not only the four months, but all year round, planning, preparing, auditing, inspecting, ratifying, checking, checking again, juggling a minefield of H&S protocol, online entries, results processing you name it! There really is a lot that goes into this and without Sean's dedication and expertise, it simply would not be. So, thank you, Sean! 👏

We really do want to say a huge thank you to absolutely everyone, without every single one of you, in every capacity, this wouldn't be what it is. And we love it. We hope you do too!

Rob Lewis spoke with BBC Lincolnshire after his final ever session with on Tuesday evening.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and left messages for Rob.

We extended our sentiments to Mark Thornton & Bill Delaney, who also saw the curtain come down on their fantastic careers with the club, and have been made Life Members.
