Ruston's Sport & Social Club are hosting a Family Fun Day, and everyone's welcome – no membership required!

Expect a raffle, tombola, hook a duck, face painting and stalls galore, plus junior/senior rugby and walking rugby, target football, padel and squash to try.

Food and drinks all day with a BBQ and live music from 7pm.

Fun for all ages – come down and support the club! 🏉🎈

Final run out for the season sees the boys get a 32-22 win, in a well fought game with Bingham RUFC.

Shoutout to all the lads who stepped up and put on the jersey this season! All the best to The Mad Dog, Steve Manning on his second retirement. We'll see you at pre season...

Under clear blue skies at Priory Witham, North Hykeham U11s brought their match season to a spectacular close against a spirited East Retford side. The dry conditions and spring sunshine provided the perfect stage for Hykeham’s "run-from-anywhere" philosophy, ensuring the final whistle of the year was met with cheers and a sense of immense pride from the touchline.

​👐 Clinical Handling and Width
​The hallmark of today’s performance was discipline and distribution. North Hykeham looked incredibly well-drilled, moving the ball through the hands with pace and accuracy to stretch the East Retford defence. By consistently getting the ball into the wide channels, Hykeham were able to bypass the congested breakdown and score several fantastic team tries in the corners. It was a textbook display of expansive rugby to cap off a year of hard work.

​🛡️ Defensive Grit
​Despite the attacking fireworks, it wasn't all one-way traffic. East Retford asked plenty of questions, but Hykeham’s defensive line held firm. The communication across the backline was vocal and organised, ensuring that even in the final game of a long season, the intensity never dropped.

​🏆 A Special Farewell to Coach Nigel
​While the performance on the pitch was exceptional, the day was coloured by a significant milestone as we bid a coaching retirement to Nigel.
​The coaches, parents, and especially the players want to extend a massive thank you for everything he has given to the club. Nigel has brought a unique brand of energy to North Hykeham; his enthusiasm is infectious, and his passion for the game is matched only by that "individual" touch he brings to every session. Nigel's impact on these young players' development has been immeasurable, and he departs with the utmost respect and gratitude from the entire Hykeham family.
