✨ Finding Balance ✨

I’ve been trying to spend less time on social media lately — to read more, be present with my family. I’ve been off socials about 6 weeks give or take the cheeky message check.

But I’ll be honest… this week I’ve slipped.
I’ve downloaded and deleted Instagram more times than I can count.

It’s strange how much we crave that quick sense of connection — even when we know real calm lives elsewhere.

This week’s for me has been a reminder that balance isn’t about being perfect — it’s about noticing when you drift, and gently coming back.

We’re still here though. If you want to book in just book through the website! We may take a little longer to reply on socials.

10 Years since you left us mum! It’s been a wild ride and so much has changed and we have all grown is so many different ways, we hope you’re watching applauding proud from the heavens. Scarborough has always been a family tradition going back generations. All the family together, slots, chips on the beach, cliff lift rides, seagulls waking us up at 6am. Most family photo albums are full of Scarborough memories. We’re keeping the tradition going. Family is all. All is love. ❤️

“I knew nothing of sensory deprivation: I found the tank was and is a rich source of new experience… One is not deprived; one is rewarded.” - John Lilly

“It’s one of the most introspective, healing tools I’ve used. The tank lets you confront yourself—with no distractions.”
— Tim Ferriss

“The isolation tank is a method of exploring the self, of going deeper and deeper into the self, until the self disappears.”

“Floating in the tank after a busy day’s work brings a great relief.… Suddenly all of the stimulation of holding one upright against gravity disappears… from a neurophysiological standpoint… one’s cerebellum is now freed for uses other than balancing the body.”
