Established 2012 Karate Academy was formed by Sensei Aamar Rajpoot at the age of 19 with the first dojo opening in his local area of Slough.
The aim behind our academy is to develop good Karate amongst our students and empower them with attributes which will help them throughout life. We teach the style of Goju Ryu which was founded by Chojun Miyagi Sensei in 1933 in Okinawa. Nearly 100 years on we now find many different styles of Karate - Goju Ryu being the original. To our instructors, volunteers, officials, organisers, parents and supporters — your time, dedication and hard work behind the scenes made the day possible, and we truly appreciate every one of you.

Black Belt Demonstration • Kingsley Community Fair 🥋
A fantastic day representing Karate Academy UK at the Kingsley Community Fair!
Our Black Belt students put on a demonstration showcasing the discipline, power and technical skill that comes from years of dedicated training. It was great to see so many people stop to watch, ask questions and show an interest in karate.
A big thank you to everyone who came over to support us and to the event organisers for having us. We hope we inspired a few future karate students along the way!

🇪🇸🥋 Our Senseis recently travelled to Spain to attend the Hanshi Onaga Ryoichi Sensei 10th Dan Memorial Celebration (Sankaiki).
The seminar was expertly led by Hanshi Toshiro Fujioka Sensei, 9th Dan, providing an invaluable opportunity to learn, honour tradition, and continue the legacy of Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate.
We are proud to bring this knowledge and experience back to our students at Karate Academy UK.
