A relatively quite weekend for our sides, fixture wise anyway!

The Saturday teams will be looking to come away with a win whilst n Sunday U9's and U10s have fixtures as well as the Sunday 1st team and both our ladies sections.

Starting Monday the 3rd of August our action-packed week of cricket returns for 2026.

Sadly a return to the inconsistencies that have blighted our Saturdays despite a bright start. Sundays were more successful with a maiden Lindum ton for Gurpreet and wins for both U9's and both Sunday senior sides.

We have games across the junior and section this week, including a cup game for Lindum Softball Ladies.

The week ends with a clash between both our Under 9 sides on Friday, which is sure to be an exciting end to the Junior training night this Friday.

The midweek XI brought home the first silverware of the season securing a victory in the Mike Savage Cup, congratulations to all who have contributed and their skipper, in his firs leadership role, Ollie Houldershaw.

Highlights elsewhere and this week was a big week for the Grimshaw brothers, with runs and wickets across a few games, we look forward to seeing their development!

Lastly an incredible batting display saw the hardball ladies top order all retire not out having scored a combined 122 between them. capping off a successful week for ladies cricket at Lindum and overall a positive week or results.

After a successful midweek for many f our teams we go into this weekend knowing all the games are must win and that performances are needed from the entire squad.

Our fellow LSA member Lindum Squash Club have their award evening later in the day which is open to all so please, if you can support the 2nd XI at home and stay around for an evening of celebration and some music.
