Lindum Cricket Club

Don't think this will be the last announcement this weekend but due to the recent weather and the forecast the game against Burghley Park has been called off.

A reminder, next Friday we have our junior presentation evening taking place at 6pm at the club and it will be lovely to see you all there celebrating the season with fellow teammates and other junior teams.

We will go up in age order with the opening welcome taking place from 18:15

🏏 Week 21 - Fixtures 🏏

All our Saturday sides are in action with the 1st XI travelling to , the 2nd XI visit and the 3rd XI are at home, the bar will be open and as they take on 2nd XI.

Sunday sees visit the LCG before we host on the Bank Holiday Monday.

Ladies 1st XI
In their long format game on Sunday the ladies won by 108 runs.

Plenty of positives, not least our centurian, but to see where they have come since their last game against a strong and talented Woodhall Spa is testament to hard work and dedication.

Well done and go well in your final game on the 6th September.

We’re delighted to announce that a Smart Coach Pocket Radar will soon be arriving!

This technology will give our players instant feedback on bowling/throwing velocity and hitting exit velocity. We are looking forward to providing our coaches and players valuable data to track progress and identify areas for development.

The information collected will also help us further personalise each player’s technical, tactical and physical development plans throughout the off-season.

The ladies finish went two for two this week with two very strong performances and another ton for Scarlett.

Another Ladies game against Outcasts Cricket Club and a timely reminder of the plight they face.

Not many clubs boast a ladies side and to see one at risk when the game is growing is really disheartening.

With competitive Senior and Junior sections to go with the growing ladies team losing a club like Outcasts would be devastating to the Lincolnshire Cricket Scene.
