There’s a strange stage in midlife where you can feel that you’re changing… before you fully understand what that change is asking of you.
You might feel less tolerant of things you used to put up with.
More protective of your energy.
More aware of what drains you.
Less interested in keeping everyone else comfortable.
And at first, that can feel unsettling.
But sometimes it isn’t that you’re becoming difficult.
Sometimes you’re just becoming more honest about what fits you now.
That’s a big part of this chapter for me.
Not trying to force myself back into an old version of who I was — but getting curious about who I’m becoming next.
And maybe that’s the invitation for all of us in this season.
Not “how do I get the old me back?”
But…
“What if the woman I’m becoming is actually the one I’ve been trying to find?” 🤍

A full weekend of gigs done 🎤✨
I absolutely love what I do, but busy weekends, late nights, travelling, performing and constantly being “on” can take a lot out of you.
One thing I’ve learned is that I can’t just keep pushing through and expect to feel good.
So today is a proper reset day.
Slowing things down.
Getting back into my usual routines.
Regulating my nervous system.
Eating well.
Hydrating.
Moving gently.
And giving my body a chance to catch up.
These are exactly the kind of simple tools I use to help me keep doing the things I love without completely running myself into the ground.
And they’re the same tools I’ve brought together inside my Regulation Reset Starter Kit 🤍
If you’ve been feeling tired, wired, overwhelmed or like you just can’t quite get yourself back to baseline lately, this is where I’d start.

THIS is part of my reset too. 🪩💜
One of my lifelong musical and style inspirations has always been Prince.
So getting to Minneapolis and finally visiting Paisley Park was one of those proper pinch-me moments.
And it reminded me of something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately…
Getting older isn’t supposed to mean becoming quieter, safer or a watered-down version of yourself.
If anything, I want MORE of the things that make me feel alive.
More music.
More colour.
More ridiculous outfits. 😂
More travel.
More creativity.
More curiosity.
More of ME.
Perimenopause can have a funny way of making you feel as though you’ve lost bits of yourself along the way.
But maybe this chapter isn’t about getting the old you back.
Maybe it’s about deciding what comes with you — and what you’re ready to leave behind.
That’s what The Reset is becoming for me.
Not just regulating your nervous system.
Getting your bloody groove back. 🪩✨
What’s something that instantly makes you feel more like YOU?

I disappeared from here for a few weeks…
Not intentionally.
I went away thinking I’d keep posting, keep showing up, keep everything ticking along.
And then I got there… and I just lived.
Two incredible weeks in Chicago and Minneapolis. So much music, exploring, laughing, walking, experiencing — including finally visiting Paisley Park, home of one of my lifelong musical and style inspirations, Prince. 💜
It was full on. It was amazing. And when I got home, my body very clearly asked for a few days to catch up too. 😴
The old version of me would probably have worried about disappearing from social media and pushed myself to get straight back to it.
But this is exactly what I’ve been learning through regulation:
You don’t always have to keep up.
You can live your life, listen to your body… and come back.
So that’s what I’m doing.
New Monday. New week. I’m back. 🤍
And there’s lots I want to share with you.
Have you ever taken a break from something and realised you actually needed it?

The first men who shape our self-worth often don’t realise they’re doing it.
Today I’m thinking about my dad—and the quiet lessons he left.
Those lessons got buried under corporate hustle and hormone chaos… until regulation work helped me hear them again.
Maybe Father’s Day is less about perfect Hallmark moments and more about honouring the guidance that still anchors us.
“Becoming Her” is about gathering every lesson, every rupture and building something original—your life, your way.
Tag someone whose quiet wisdom still guides you. 👇

Love isn’t the only thing that changes you.
One year ago today we said “I do.”
I thought marriage would be about sharing a home, a name, a life.
I didn’t realise it would also be about sharing my growth.
This year he’s watched me evolve through anxiety, hormone shifts and a business pivot.
Instead of asking me to stay the same, he’s been cheering the woman I’m becoming.
If you feel guilty for changing, remember: the right people celebrate your evolution.
“Becoming Her” isn’t a solo journey.
It’s an invitation to meet the version of you that love—yours and theirs—has been waiting for.
Tell me: who’s in your corner while you evolve? 💬

Perimenopause isn’t just a hormonal transition.
For many women it’s an identity transition.
You suddenly find yourself questioning things you were once sure of.
Feeling overwhelmed by things that never used to bother you.
Wondering where your confidence went.
I’ve been there.
What I discovered is that the symptoms aren’t always the whole story.
Sometimes you’ve become disconnected from yourself.
The work I do helps women reconnect with who they are, trust themselves again and step into the next version of themselves.
Not the old version.
The evolved version.
Welcome to Becoming Her.

I’ve always been independent and confident.
So when perimenopause arrived and suddenly I was second-guessing myself and feeling overwhelmed by things that never used to bother me, it was frustrating.
What regulation helped me do wasn’t become someone different.
It helped me reconnect with myself.
It got me back to a place where I felt confident in what I needed, what was right for me and where I wanted to be.
That journey became the foundation of everything I now teach.
Not because I’m perfect.
Because I’ve lived it.
And if you’re feeling lost right now, I want you to know there is another side to this.
❤️ You’re not becoming less.
You’re becoming more.

Perimenopause can feel like everything has changed.
Your emotions.
Your confidence.
Your energy.
Your sense of self.
But often the missing piece isn’t more willpower.
It’s regulation.
When your nervous system feels safer, everything else becomes easier to navigate.
Swipe through to discover why regulation matters during perimenopause and why it forms the foundation of everything I teach inside The Regulation Reset™.
