Results come with consistency

It’s that simple

Not dipping in and out

1 week on 1 weeks off

5 days good, 2 days completely off the rails

You won’t get anywhere

I play golf 3-4 months of the year

Probably 10 rounds max

I don’t expect to be good when I play

Because I’m not consistent

I love the sport, I’d play more if I had the time

But I’m realistic with it (as frustrating as it can be)

So why on earth do you complain and sit there frustrated you’re not seeing change..

But you can’t even be consistent with nailing the basics?

It’s baffles me

It’s another reason why you need accountability

“But I can do it alone”

Sure…

Keep telling yourself that

Just like I need lessons if I wanted to improve

As it’s the only way I would

It’s really not a hard concept to grasp 🤝

Week 12 post stage.. 📈

7kg up and at 84kg currently

Training has never been more effective than it is right now

2 days changed on a new split

Chest & back ➡️ push B
Arms & delts ➡️ pull B

Plenty of top set / back off set work going in

Strength & PB’s climbing by the week

As always, my aim personally is to hold condition for as long as possible whilst I grow

With football pre season back underway this won’t be difficult to do

A very effective reverse where I didn’t just throw the kitchen sink at eating helped a lot

That’s where a lot go wrong..

They think the job is done once a dieting phase is over

Couldn’t be any further from the truth

In full flow, no injuries at present & happy with where I’m at

Filling your own cup should never stop

You’ll never know it all

And that’s why having a coach is WILL always succeed getting a plan of your mate, or chat GPT..

Sure, it can give you the plan in writing

But it can’t give you a hell of a lot than working with an actual person can

The best coaches have coaches

Those that have a coach tend to get the best results

Ever wondered why you’ve been stuck for so long?

It’s down to not having someone in your corner

I tried for a few years doing it alone, I thought I made progress

But the truth is..

I wasn’t

I looked average.
My standards were average.
I was inconsistent.

It wasn’t until I invested into levelling my standards up and allowing someone to hold me accountable, everything changed

You have the option to do the same

You’re just scared to make it

So what would you rather?

Stay the same, look the same and continue being frustrated whilst people around you look better and feel better?

Here’s an effective way to grow your chest 👇🏼

Pick a press that allows your chest to converge

It’s simpler terms, where your hands moving inwards towards eachother

Why?

That will allow your pectoral muscles to get short

It also provides a natural line of movement

It reduces less activation of your triceps and shoulders

All in all, it’s a very effective exercise when training your chest

Combine this will intensity and accuracy, and you’ll be on to a winner

Did I win? No

Did I even place? No

But that’s not what it’s about for me..

Which may sound mental to some

But this was a whole lot bigger than just getting a medal

That’s what every fitness journey should be

Not just seeking the goal, but embracing and learning many things along the way

I’d done 3 photoshoots before jumping on stage, it wasn’t something I just randomly did

This was years of hard work

Here’s what it taught me 👇🏼

1️⃣ you’re always capable of more than you think

Stop being satisfied with being average, instead set goals that scare you. That’s how you grow.

2️⃣ consistency outweighs everything

For 16 weeks, I was 100% perfect. Nothing off plan, not a drop of alcohol

Just super consistent and i solely put that down to years of consistency and building the resilience

3️⃣ you will never know it all

I got beat by 3 lads who have been on stage before, bigger than me, more experienced.

I didn’t go into it thinking I’d win, I was aware the competition was strong

Stop thinking you can do it alone or you don’t need to learn to grow, it’s such a deluded way to think

4️⃣ enjoy the process you’re in

I love the challenge, although it comes with a lot of stress, a lack of a social life & a lot of time..

I enjoyed the process of seeing my hard work comes to life

Get feedback, evaluate, implement and progress

5️⃣ it allowed me to be a better man

It builds elite discipline - whether that’s in work, being a partner, being a coach, a friend

It’s allowed me to carry that into all walks of life and I truly believe pushing the boundaries with your physique does that

It’s been a pleasure to watch Reece grow and transform across the year

He came to me a consistent man who went to the gym

But his physique was crying out for more

The potential was there and from the first call, I knew it was going to be a ride

He ticked off his first photoshoot in April

He’s grew a silly amount of muscle tissue

And taken himself to sub 10% body fat with ease

Not many who can say they’ve ever looked like Reece

Problem is, a lot of you want this result within a few weeks

You don’t realise the work it takes to get there
