Today was a solo practise day for me. πŸ“ˆ

I get asked loads of questions regarding practise, what should you be doing & how much of it..

Over the years I've found the best way for me to keep my solo practise as productive as possible, and get the most out of my days to prevent it becoming monotonous, is constantly set myself challenges & dial in on particular areas of my game.

It's the age old debate of quantity or quality, but why not have both? πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

I like to start my solo days off with really simple routines, maybe do 5-10, including Lineups, T Lineups, full table spreads, basically anything where nothing is awkward, but go for a long period of time without missing a single ball, that helps to focus my mind.

Then I'll zero in on what I want to do, today was cue ball control.
Here's a tough routine that requires discipline. I wasn't completely satisfied with the outcome, I landed straight on 1 red and also played a couple of blacks from slightly higher positions than I intended to be, so the use of side spin saved the day, but it's good to try and strive for that perfection in that area of the table, and my next attempts I'll look to iron out those minor flaws. The end goal was to complete the routine obviously, but you can go through your game with a fine comb to keep pushing for more.

I'm still very much a student of this game, you'll never complete it, you'll always want more. But it's good see where you are at right now. πŸ€“

You can try this down the club, condense this routine to just a few reds and blacks, you don't need all 15 out. It's a good one, I've got thousands off them, and at least then you're trying something productive, not just hitting balls πŸ‘πŸΌ
