Today our U13s travelled to Retford FC Juniors to take part in their final tournament before the season starts.

A tough group saw some really hard fought matches against quality opposition from around the region and the team held their own in every game, making their way through to the ‘Europa Cup’ Final against one of the host teams.

A tense end to end final finished 0-0 and the game went to penalties….

Both teams took some superb penalties with all 10 being on target, and both keepers put in a great display… but our keeper Bobi was the hero of the shootout, saving 3/5 to help the team win the cup! 🏆

Our Little Saints is our introduction to football designed for 4-6 year olds.

Fun training sessions are held on Saturday mornings at Monson Park in Skellingthorpe village. Our aim is to develop each child's football experience building on the skills the children already possess

We also have spaces for children to play in the new FA U7s format. 3 v 3 small sided games.

Today our ever improving under 8s have gone and done the business with a very good performance against Horncastle Town, a team from the league above. The boys all did themselves proud. Player of the Match went to Maxwell, someone who doesn't usually get on the scoresheet but he netted two today including a brilliant free kick. ❤️🖤

Our U8s played against a really tough team from Newark tonight, both physically and ability they were a really strong team, but once again the team upped their game and did the business. Goals galore again for the freescoring saints!
Player of the Match went to a young lad that is also new to us as a team, but shows his ability every week and plays with a smile on his face every single time... Despite taking an absolute rocket to the face, he got up got on with it and pinged in a hat trick!

Our U8s tested themselves against higher level opposition tonight once again Nettleham. This time the team came out victorious with every outfield player getting on the scoresheet. Everyone worked hard from the first whistle to the last. Player of the Match when to a young man who's new the team but feels like he's been playing together for years. He’s truly become a saint already, really well done Bernie!

Our U8s tested themselves against a team from a higher league tonight - Nettleham. The game was really well contested by both sides and a good test for the team.

Player of the Match was again our own bulldozer in Reggie. Reggie over the last year has gone from strength to strength and at times carries the team from one end of the pitch to the other bouncing away from tackles and winning every single ball he challenges for ❤️🖤

Our U8s started pre season in style, with a brilliant performance today keeping up their incredible run from the summer tournaments... Player of the Match went to Kai for an absolutely brilliant hat trick and incredible work rate... Our Attitude Trophy went to our very own Roy Keane in Reggie, his tireless running and physicality means the team win the ball back with ease in every tackle ❤️🖤⚽️

Today our U8s were joined by our new partner BeeLimitless Gym. Harrison and Molly took the session, working on the boys fitness and passing, culminating in a fantastic game at the end! As a team we’re unbelievably grateful of the support from these guys. Going forward they’ve offered the team a percentage of the money they get from new sign ups through the month of August. This will all go towards new equipment to help the team on our footballing journey.
