LMS International Football Programme

Great for our International Football Programme players, Biragam Sodhi and Glen Kortkamp, to see a first team match under the lights after all the difficulties with COVID-19 last season!

Fantastic to see Lincoln Minster School student Sean Roughan continuing his development for Lincoln City Football Club by playing against Manchester City U21s in the Papa John's Trophy tonight, and with another LMS student, Sam Long, named among the substitutes too!

The perfect opportunity to celebrate a beautiful city and a fantastic place to live! Students on our live in the centre of Lincoln and have these sights on their doorstep. And the Red Arrows aerobatic team occasionally fly over to check out our training too!

Such a shame that current circumstances mean that our International Football Programme players can't be in the stadium tonight to learn first-hand from some of the best players in the world, but we'll be watching on TV and cheering on the Imps!

Great to see 3 Academy Scholars play a part in the first preseason friendly for yesterday! Pupils on the benefit from using the same facilities and having many of the same coaches as Lincoln City FC's Academy, but more importantly we have the same focus on providing talented young people opportunities to develop.
