These friendly and supportive sessions are designed for people living with a long-term health condition, providing an opportunity to stay active, improve wellbeing and enjoy the benefits of swimming in a welcoming environment.

We’re pleased to introduce a new Dementia Friendly Swim session at Lichfield Leisure Centre.

📅 Every Friday
⏰ 15.15–16.00
📅 Starting WB 7th September

The session provides a welcoming, relaxed and supportive environment for people living with dementia, as well as their families and carers.

Swimming and being active can be a great way to support wellbeing, confidence, movement and social connection – and this session is designed to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. 💦

👥 Everyone is welcome, whatever their ability.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE – SOME POOL SESSIONS HAVE CHANGED

With the addition of our new sessions, some existing pool sessions have been amended.

📅 Tuesday Early Morning Adult Swim will now finish at 8:25am
📅 Wednesday and Friday Over 50 Swims will now start earlier at 2.30pm

Please check the new timetable before visiting to make sure you have the most up-to-date session times.

Another great session of scenario training with the team at Lichfield Leisure Centre.

As a new centre, these sessions are really important in helping us learn, review and continually improve how we respond to emergency situations. Every scenario gives us an opportunity to challenge our processes, strengthen teamwork and build confidence.
