It may have been hot… but our students were even hotter!
Last night’s martial arts classes were definitely a challenge with the soaring temperatures, but we couldn’t be prouder of every single student who stepped onto the mats.
To make sure everyone stayed safe, we adapted the classes with:
Plenty of water breaks
Reduced intensity where needed
More focus on skills, confidence and technique
Fun games and teamwork instead of pushing through the heat
The resilience, listening skills and positive attitudes shown by our students were fantastic. Even in difficult conditions, they gave their best, looked after one another and kept smiling throughout. 😊
A huge thank you to all our parents for making sure the children arrived with water bottles and to our instructors for adapting the lessons while still making them fun and engaging.
At MF Martial Arts & Dance , our priority is always the wellbeing of our students while helping them grow in confidence, discipline and resilience—whatever the weather! ❤️

Today we celebrate the fathers, grandads, stepdads, father figures and role models who support, encourage and inspire our students every day.
Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines, helping with practice at home, tying belts, driving to classes, or stepping onto the mats yourself, thank you for being such an important part of our martial arts family.
At MF Team Woollard, we see first-hand the impact a positive role model can have on a child’s confidence, focus and self-belief. The lessons learned together on and off the mats create memories that last a lifetime.
