✨ We’re back for a brand new term of Tots Play fun! 💙🧡

What a lovely first week it’s been! It was so wonderful to welcome both our returning families and lots of new parents and little ones to class. 🥹

This week we jumped like 3 Speckled Frogs in yoga 🐸, played lots of peek-a-boo, and explored touch and texture in our sensory play 🙌🏻 with fluffy and smooth textures, as well as lots of pouring and scooping fun.

We can’t wait for another week of Tots Play adventures! 🫧✨

Don’t matter what you wear…”

And actually, that feels pretty perfect for Tots Play!

It doesn’t matter if your hair didn’t make it anywhere near a brush this morning 😂 mine certainly hasn't and there's plenty of mugshot photo proof!!

It doesn’t matter if you’re in leggings, yesterday’s jumper or whatever was clean-ish!

It doesn’t matter if your baby had a terrible night, missed their nap or decides to cry for half the class.

And it definitely doesn’t matter if you don’t know a single person when you walk through the door.

You don’t need to have it all together.
You don’t need the perfectly packed changing bag, the perfectly timed nap or a baby in a perfectly coordinated outfit.

Just bring your little one. We’ll take care of the welcome!

Come comfy.
Come tired.
Come nervous.
Come on your own.
Come with a friend.

Because Tots Play isn’t about how you look when you walk through the door — it’s about what you and your little one find when you get here! 🥹

A little bit of play, a little bit of connection, hopefully a helpful friendship too! A room full of people who completely understand that sometimes just getting out of the house with a baby is an achievement in itself 😂

One of my favourite messages to get from a mum isn’t…

“We loved class today.”

It’s…

“We did that thing you showed us at home.” ❤️

Because yes, I want you and your little one to have a lovely time in my classes.

But I also want you to leave with something.

Maybe you’ve tried something we did in class while you were playing together at home.

Maybe you’ve suddenly noticed your baby responding to something you hadn’t realised they could do.

Or maybe you’ve thought, “Ahhh… so that’s why we were doing that!”

I spend quite a lot of time explaining the why behind the things we do.

Not because I want to give you another list of things you should be doing.

But because when you understand what your baby is experiencing, it makes it so much easier to take those little moments into everyday life.

And that’s the bit I really love.

When something we’ve done together in class becomes something you and your baby enjoy at home too.

Because for me, the best part of the class isn’t always what happens while you’re here.

It’s what stays with you when you walk out the door. ❤️

Once the little ones are back at school, Tots Play returns for a brand new term filled with sensory play, yoga, music, bubbles and lots of fun.

We know how exhausting and hard those early new-born days are, you're not alone Momma!

Right now, the thought of coming to a class might feel overwhelming, and you might be wondering things like, what happens if your baby cries? Answer: it doesn’t matter, babies cry, we know that!

Or you may be worrying that they will probably just sleep through the whole thing, so what’s the point? Answer: At this early stage the class is as much about you as it is your baby, come along and chat with other mummies who are going through similar things to you, get advice and share your struggles, no one's here to judge, just support 💕

Our classes are completely baby led so if your baby needs feeding or changing then we encourage you to do whatever you need to make you and baby comfortable.

When you book a Baby Development course you will also receive a booklet to take home that covers all the things we will do and discuss during the workshop, that way you can continue play times with your precious little bundle at home 🥰

Our welcome song is something we do every single week, helping our tots learn the words, the actions, and know what’s coming next. It’s a lovely familiar routine that gets everyone smiling and ready for class! 🎶

Not long to go until we’re back together, singing our welcome song and warming up for some yoga, sensory play, and lots of fun! 💙🧡

Social Tots is a fun, active, interactive weekly play session, suitable for those confident crawlers and walkers- up to around 3 years!

At Social Tots, we know that once our little ones are on the move, they like to be kept busy, and that they learn & develop best through a combination of fun, fast paced structured activities, as well as the opportunity for unstructured free play.

🧠 Structured activities build concentration, communication, social skills & confidence. Ensuring your little one is prepared for future learning/ education

🎨 Free play nurtures all of this plus personality, creativity, imagination, physical ability & problem solving

In these fun, interactive weekly play sessions, we will:

🧠 Introduce you to a whole range of activities and techniques to help you and your baby get more out of your play times in ways that are not only beneficial for baby’s development, but also lots of fun

🥰 Support your child to feel secure, give them the confidence to explore, learn and grow
